Fremont Lakes State Recreation Area, Fremont, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Rate includes out of state $5.00 fee.. Really poor signage. Got lost in a subdivision. Once there, people were very nice, showed us where to go on their map. Only a few pull through sites. Stayed day after Labor Day, so park clean-up was really needed. Flies everywhere. Must be their state bird. Could not sit out that evening; way too many flies. We camped at Fremont Lakes State Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Passport America price made it a good choice. Parked in the trees. Really nice setting. Easy on/off highway. Not much highway noise. Would stay here again. We camped at Kellogg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Steel Wheel Campground, Deadwood, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Passport America rate made it pleasing. It is about 8 miles from Deadwood. There is absolutely no AT&T cell service, so iPad was also useless. AND the Wi-Fi did not work at the campsite. They made no attempt to fix it. Hardly worked at the office. Otherwise it is a nice campground in a very pleasant setting. We camped at Steel Wheel Campground in a Travel Trailer.
