Murray Beach Provincial Park, Murray Beach, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We would have given this a 10 or 11 but we gave it a 9 because of the level of the site. The site we wanted was not level so we moved to another site that was still not good, but better. The staff were FANTASTIC and the park is amazingly beautiful. This is one awesome place to go. They closed too early this year so we only got to stay one day as they closed the next day. Too nice of a park to close this early in September. As for a provincial park we were pleasantly surprised to find that they have 3 service hook-ups. We camped at Murray Beach Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Old Shipyard Beach Campground, Spencers Island, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We would give this an 11, but the WI-FI is the worst, basically there is Wi-Fi, but you are lucky if you get a signal. The owners are FANTASTIC... we stay here every September and always will, as this is one of the best locations on this planet. It's just AWESOME ! We camped at Old Shipyard Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

CASH ONLY..... Staff are very friendly. Hook-up's were readily accessible. View was wonderful of the famous rock. The traffic noise was unbearable at time as the park sits right at the road. Close walk to the town. Very tight sites. We camped at Camping Cote Surprise in a Motorhome.

Hartt Island RV Resort, Fredericton, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We would have given this a 10, but the traffic noise was deafening at times. Check in staff were lovely. The sites were clean and large. We stayed here in 2010 once and since then this park has invested a substantial amount of money to improve all it's facilities. Hook-up's were easily accessible. WI-FI was excellent. If the traffic noise wasn't an issue, this would be a world class facility. We camped at Hartt Island RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cove Oceanfront Campground, Parker's Cove, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

We are only giving this a 5 and that is because of the view otherwise when it rains your site gets flooded. We have a 34ft motorhome and we had to move around to different sites 4 times before we could finally fit on a site. You would figure that they should know how long each site is, but apparently they don't. The WiFi is not always good. Hookups were easily accessible. The wind off the ocean can be unpleasant in September so please keep that in mind. In the summer you would welcome the breeze, but in Sept it was a very strong wind wherein which we brought in the slideout's at night because that is how windy it was. Site pricing was confusing. Also, they put a sticker on the windshield of your car (we tow a car) that is a heck of a time removing it. A sharp turn getting into this park when towing a vehicle behind. We camped at Cove Oceanfront Campground in a Motorhome.

We gave this a 5 because of it's close walking distance to the old town of Lunenburg. The hookups were conflicting from site to site. Some sites like ours were Not level. Wi-Fi was very good. We would only stay here again because of the close walking distance to the town. We camped at Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground in a Motorhome.

Wawa RV Resort and Campground, Wawa, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The owners were so wonderful. Hook-ups were great. Sites were treed. Clean. A wonderful place for walking our dog. If you appreciate nature you will truly love this park as the frog's sing you too sleep. You can stargaze for hours and if your lucky as we were we were blessed with watching a magnificent black bear in the distance. This was a place that we would camp here again. We camped at Wawa RV Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.
