Safe Harbor RV Resort at Elm Hill, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We are currently at this park for several days. The park is exceptionally clean with spectacular views. The wifi is strong, which is not usually the case at RV parks! The staff were very nice and friendly. The sites might be considered a little short, but they are double width and you have enough room to park beside your rig. The spaces are concrete and have nice metal picnic tables and stone fire circles at each site. We camped at Safe Harbor RV Resort at Elm Hill in a Travel Trailer.

Okatoma Resort & RV Park, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night passing through. The road into the park is really narrow with water on both sides but once you get to the park it is a beautiful and peaceful place. Seemed to be a lot of full timers. Lot is gravel and grass and somewhat hard to level on. Sewer connections were a little high (it's hard to drain uphill!) Office folks were really nice. We camped at Okatoma Resort & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Jellystone Park at Whispering Pines (formerly Whispering Pines RV Reso, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We had a reservation at another park in the area, but when we drove by it realized we did NOT want to stay there, so we drove over to Jellystone. We were late arrivals with no reservation and the owner had just locked up for the night when we pulled up. She opened the gate for us, told us just to go ahead and set up and stop by in the morning to pay. Such a kind lady as a major storm was brewing! We were just there for the night, parked in one of the pull through spaces. Hookups were great and we were set up and safely inside before the storm hit. Next morning walked around and this is a lovely park. Super clean, lots of fun stuff for families to do. Highly recommend! We camped at Jellystone Park at Whispering Pines (formerly Whispering Pines RV Reso in a Travel Trailer.

Woodsmoke Camping Resort, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

This was a beautifully landscaped park with concrete sites. We had a pull-through, it was nice and wide and plenty long for our truck and 35 foot trailer. We stayed two nights and would definitely stay there again. They are super nice people and the park is immaculate. Lots of amenities we didn't have time to use, but recommend this park highly! We camped at Woodsmoke Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The Great Outdoors RV Nature & Golf Resort, Titusville, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Have never been to a nicer park. Lots are owned by individuals and put in a rental pool when they are gone. Each lot is impeccably landscaped and more like a nice neighborhood. Rate was $55.75 a night, but they gave us the third night free so really is less than that if you stay more than two nights. Site was paved and long with a nice patio. We camped at The Great Outdoors RV Nature & Golf Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

They have two pools and some activity each night such as Bingo or a movie. On the grounds is an awesome RV repair shop. We had a real issue and they jumped right on it to get us back on the road. Two caf├ęs within the park and a beauty shop. Gated community in a real peaceful place. Deer and cardinals were regular visitors. You are close enough to town and attractions such as the space center and Merritt Island, but really would be enjoyable if you never left the park.

Southern Oaks RV Resort, Summerfield, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here three nights while visiting friends in The Villages. Staff was nice. Sites were almost entirely sand and the patio was in a weird position if you lined up for ease in hookup connections. Cable required a deposit for a cable box so we didn't use. Except for full timers, the landscaping at the sites was nil. Very barren. We camped at Southern Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Park is in a busy area and close to a train, but you don't notice that once you are in the park. Really tall nice trees and landscaping is pretty. Was a great place to spend the night. We camped at Tallahassee East Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lots of stores and shopping nearby and nice restaurants. Park was a little close entering the driveway, but the spaces were well spaced. Most sites were pull through. Very quiet and peaceful.

Shady Acres Campground, Mobile, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a quiet park in a nice neighborhood. Owner lives there and has for over 50 years. He was very friendly and helpful. Lots are gravel but level and he worked hard to find the best spot for us to get in and out of. We were just passing through but this was a nice park. There are some permanents but their spaces were neat and they were friendly. Would stay here again. We camped at Shady Acres Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Several good things to see in the area. We visited Avery Island and the Tabasco factory. Enjoyed the tour, and then visited the gardens. Can't say enough about the gardens. Awesome and the birds were spectacular.

Bayou Shores RV Resort, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are extremely narrow. With our slides open we were right up against the hookups for our site on that side and only had about 3 feet from our door to the next sites sewer connection. Sewer connections were open and appeared to have some spillage around them. We don't have pets but park must be pet friendly as "deposits" were in several places on our site. Site is grass and dirt. There were deep ruts due to mud when last renters were there. Due to issues with hookups and condition of site we left first thing next morning as soon as we could locate another park. Office person was unconcerned with our issues and refused to refund the remaining nights we had paid for. It was worth the money for us to move. Will not return. We camped at Bayou Shores RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Hitch-N-Post RV Park, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Hosts were very helpful and pleasant. Sites are gravel, but weren't too hard to level up. There was no cable and even though they advertise Internet, it only worked at the office, or in the laundromat. The laundry was clean, but it is the only one in town. So often there were people from outside the park using the machines and it was hard to get access. The park is pleasant and peaceful and we would stay there again. We camped at Hitch-N-Post RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park was clean and hosts were very nice. Store was well stocked. Spaces were a little narrow and those with trees were hard to manipulate around the trees, if you had pull outs. All dirt sites. There is no cable TV. We were never able to get the Internet to work at all even though they indicated they had just put in a new system. Gave 10% discount for AAA. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Location was good, even though hard to find. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Site was gravel and level and good length. We were able to pull through and not have to unhook our vehicle. No cable, but we were able to pick up several local channels with antenna. Internet is not that great was only complaint. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
