Mountain View RV Park, Columbia Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Park owners are very friendly and professional. They're investing considerably into improving it. Only downside is that some of those staying here don't pick up after their dogs and there's a fair amount of doggie doo in various places. Park was almost full while we were here with a mixture of tourists and full-time working folk and homesteaders. Spot was fine, although with the power pedestal towards the front, I couldn't back in as far as I wanted to. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Green Valley Campground, Glendive, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly and responsive owners! Not a 'resort' by any means, but a good overnight place with full hookups for a great price. Loved that they've got a town "Visitor & Relocation Guide"! We camped at Green Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lindenwood Park, Fargo, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Great park, great location, great price, great service, BUT very tight spots! The positives make up for not having sewer and being on top of your neighbors. BEWARE that there's some major construction going on near the park entrance. There is an acute and very tight right turn on the detour that we hat to use all lanes for with our 38' 5er. A 40+' one had to back and forth to get around it. We camped at Lindenwood Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wagner Park, Barnesville, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Tried to stay, but first spot had only a dead 30 amp plug available. (Two spots share same pedistal, with one 50, one 30, and a duplex 20.) Moved to a second and the available 50 was dead. Went on to Fargo. Wagner is a nice park even with the fulltimers they have. The town really needs to fix the electric issues though. We camped at Wagner Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cruise Inn RV Park and Lodging (formerly America's Best Inn and Suites, Alexandria, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Sites could use some leveling, but CG is clean. Price is very good. Staff was excellent and very helpful. Wifi is very usable. This is not a 'resort' CG, but if you want somewhere to stay while going out and about, it's great. For the best satellite and wifi reception, get an inner spot. We camped at Cruise Inn RV Park and Lodging (formerly America's Best Inn and Suites in a Fifth Wheel.

Minneapolis Northwest KOA, Rogers, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are close together and mostly shaded. Campground is clean and well maintained although slightly showing it's age. Staff is very good and courteous. The location is the best part of this CG, otherwise it wouldn't be worth more than $30 a night. We camped at Minneapolis Northwest KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Pine View Campground -FamCamp (Open to the Public), Fort McCoy, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is an outstandingly clean and spacious park! Office people were very friendly and courteous. Spaces are spread out and easy to access. Only real issue we had was the $50 per night when there was no WiFi nor cable. Other was the live heavy artillery fire until midnight one of the two nights we spent there. It IS next to a Nat. Guard base and they do have to train. We camped at Pine View Campground -FamCamp (Open to the Public) in a Fifth Wheel.

Paradise Camping Resort, Garden Prairie, Illinois

Very nice and quite large park. Signs said under new management and there's a fair amount of construction & renovation going on. Very friendly at the office. We only stayed an overnight while on the way to Minneapolis, but really liked the place. We camped at Paradise Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Roger's Campground and Motel, Lancaster, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older campground. Only electric we could see was 20 amp. Since the campground is close to the White Mountains, this isn't all that bad, but could be at least 30 amp. Most sites are fairly level, but all are grass and our 15,000# fiver sunk in a bit. Store is good and facilities are clean. While sites are close together, they had few here so there was no crowding at all. We camped at Roger's Campground and Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

Camping Auclair, Saint Jean Baptiste, Quebec

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed a week here at this established, but extremely clean CG. Solid WiFi, friendly and professional staff. Located near a large nature preserve and a bit away from Montreal, but VERY quiet and peaceful. Good over the air TV reception. Only drawback is no CG store, but St. Jean Baptiste is nearby. We're coming back next year for a two week stay for certain! We camped at Camping Auclair in a Fifth Wheel.

Susquehanna Trail Campground, Oneonta, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We paid full price (had the wrong Passport America card with me & it was expired!), which was too high for what is there. Otherwise the campground is clean and the manager (changing soon) friendly and helpful. Easy to get to from the Interstate, but a bit noisy early in the morning from trains nearby. Lot of long term sites. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
