Date of Stay:

One night while traveling through. Good wifi, good cable, fairly level spots. Friendly owner.

Date of Stay:

Overnighted just after the 'big freeze'. Sewer had frozen but everything else worked. Spots not level, hookups in strange places. OK for over night, but wouldn't stay for more than that.

Yes, there's some traffic noise, but it dies down after 9PM. No, there's no pool or spa, but all the basics are certainly there, including wifi. Owner is very friendly and professional - and a serious modeler with a garden railroad right there. Only spent one night, but he was accommodating and we'd definitely come back for several days.

It is clean and the facilities are impressive, but that's all I can say positive about this place. No cable. No wifi unless you pay an ADDITIONAL $15 per week. For $315 to stay a week WITH Passport America, this is just a rip-off dressed up as a gated community & golf course.

Very nice CG. Clean and well kept up. WiFi was a little slow but OK and would drop periodically - that's all that keeps it from being a 10. Although slightly tight, it is big rig friendly. Staff is super. Great location for seeing Santa Fe and taking a day trip to Taos. There's even a city bus stop right at the entrance.

I'd give this park a much higher rating, but we had to travel over 2 miles on a dirt (in NM, that's DUST!) road to get to it. WiFi is solid, rate is good, and although you do have to pay for your electricity, the rate is only .13 a k/h. It's not far away from I-10, but far enough to be quieter than many others we've been at. Very friendly staff & owner. Gave us a big packet of info on Deming; although, we thought we'd only be one night. Just wish the county roads had been at least oiled!

Yes, this is an old park built on an even older motel, BUT the staff is extremely friendly and professional. The CG is clean (but some things could be cleared out), the wifi WORKS (as opposed to many CGs that claim to have it but don't), the cable works as well. Using Passport America, we only paid a total of $40 with tax for two nights. An exceptionally good deal.

Date of Stay:

Very tight for large rigs. Site was in rear of CG and fairly new with gravel dumped on soft ground so getting level was difficult. Many seasonal campers with permanent sited rigs - some not in very good shape. CG was crowded with many large groups, but got quiet after 9PM.

Date of Stay:

Pricy for what's provided even with PA, but much cleaner than others nearby. Spent most of the time in nearby towns as there's a lot to see in the area. We were in a pull through and never had anyone next to us in four days.

Made a reservation for a one night pull through w/ 38' RV. Arrived to find no one at office and a sign saying to use provided maps, find an empty spot, and check in come morning. Not a problem so far, but the map didn't show spots that I could pull my rig into and through. I walked around the area near the office and found none I could get into without a spotter (and I'm being charitable!). And, I was by myself. Campground looked well maintained and clean, but I couldn't find anywhere I could even back into alone. Nothing on the map indicating any new spots as previously reported. Ended up leaving and spending the night at a truck stop. At least I didn't run into any trees!

Westmoreland is the first ever state park, so it is old, has no sewer hookups, no 50 amp and no Wi-Fi - BUT it is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful & friendly, and it's absolutely gorgeous! Fees are extremely reasonable and there's nature all around. A really great park to get away from it all and get back to nature.
