Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Map was incorrect on location, Go past first entrance to casino on the left and as you approach the second entrance the RV park is on your right just after the Shell gas station. Excellent shower and laundry. Some of the pads are broken and impossibly unlevel, but they are gradually replacing them. The site assigned to us was really bad, but when we asked for a better one we spotted there was no problem. We will stay here again. We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stopped here twice. New large dog park. Wide concrete level site with grass and table. Very well maintained. WiFi and cable good. It frequently rains here and we loved how clean it stayed. Very comfy heated showers. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Older park. Rough around the edges. Good value for over night. Clean laundry with low cost. The heated bathroom a big plus. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. So even if the park's a little funky, we'll stop here again. Cheap @ 25/night! We camped at A Deming Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pismo State Beach - Oceano Campground, Oceano, California

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Approaching from north go on past first Pismo Beach campground unless you need to dump. The Oceano campground doesn't have a dump station. Arrive at Oceano (go past 2 county parks) with empty holding tanks and be ready for a real treat! Beautiful and a short walk to the beach. We camped at Pismo State Beach - Oceano Campground in a Motorhome.

Laguna Seca Recreation Area, Salinas, California

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

No Wi-Fi or sewer only minuses to this park. Thirty three/night is with senior discount. There was a notice on one bathroom indicating the water had failed testing for arsenic. Fortunately, we didn't need to fill. That said, clean grounds, peaceful, very scenic. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Laguna Seca Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Marin Park, Greenbrae, California

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Clean park. Well run. Handy to shopping and public transit. Located right by the ferry to SF, so great for sight seeing. Our motor home is small, so we use the showers and these are nice and clean. WI-FI however, is almost useless. We camped at Marin Park in a Motorhome.

Burns RV Park, Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The park is ok if you just have to lay over for a night. It looks good from the road but we found ourselves in an area with a mobile home and several rvs that were long term with duct tape and foam skirting. The restroom looked clean enough but on a cold morning there was no heat. Our motorhome is a mini and we depend upon the park to have good showers. At 35 and no heat? A real turn off. I would not stay there again. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.
