This park is very nice but very expensive. Many things that other parks include are extra charges here. The dog area is very nice and large. Overall we did not feel the value was very good.

Date of Stay:

This is mainly a mobile home park with lots of permanent residents. It was tight in our spot. It was fine for a few days stay, and it was convenient for driving around town.

Great place, a bit out of town. They back up to a park, and have great hiking and biking trails you walk to right from the park. The management were great here, really friendly and helpful.

Nice park. The staff was very accommodating. They have weekly meals complimentary to meet the other campers. The park is very well maintained and close to everything in town.

This is a nice park that is just across the street from a very nice public beach. The park is nice, new and very well maintained. We enjoyed it here.

Nice lakefront setting. Our site was tight on length and width. Most of the employees were nice, but they had a couple of unpleasant ones as well. Nice dog park on site for your pets. One con is this place is a bit remote.

This is mainly a mobile home park with permanent residents. They have some RV spots available. It is on the water with good boating access. They have a nice pool here. It is convenient to Key West. The monthly rates are reasonable. There are lots of rules, and they are pet tolerant, but not really pet friendly.

This is a great park that allows you to walk to the beach from your site. The landscaping is OK but not the best you will find. The sites are fairly spacious in some areas and tight in others. They are limited on 50 Amp sites. The only detraction is it is very sandy, and you will track a lot of it inside. We had a great time, met some very nice folks here, and will be returning.

A pretty nice older park. One row of sites backs up to I95 and would be noisy, avoid those if possible. The sites were narrow, short and not quite level. There is no landscape barrier between sites. The park is about 35-40% mobile homes. The pool was nice. Gated entrance, so security seemed very good.

A very nice RV resort. They have a large development and tons of activities. There are mostly permanent residents, but many spaces are available to rent. The pads were concrete and grass grows up to them, so you don't track in too much dirt. The folks here are very friendly.

A beautiful RV resort. The nicest one we have stayed in. Everything is landscaped or covered in gravel, no dirt to track inside your RV. Every site had a tiki hut in the rear. Most of the sites are on the water. The sites are close together, but divided by landscape plantings, so privacy is good. The grounds are extremely beautiful, they have thousands of palms here.

You can get a direct Ocean front site here and see the Ocean from your windshield. They have a camping store with supplies and snacks at the front entrance. Everything is sand and you will track it in your rig. There are no real facilities for your pets, but you can take them on the beach, if leashed and you clean up after them. We had a nice time and may return.

We were happy with our stay here. The park is very large with hundreds of sites. It only fills up for the state fair. There is no shade and no real amenities. We liked it because it was very convenient to our family and every thing we wanted to do in Raleigh. There are not many campgrounds in Raleigh, and this one is the most centrally located. The park is extremely well maintained by the fairgrounds staff.

This is a great place to stay if you want to visit Charleston, or just to enjoy the awesome park facilities. The park is very large and very nice, with plenty of things to do. They have a huge dog park and a rock climbing wall. There are hiking and bike paths to tour the whole park. They have a festival of lights starting in November that is ranked as one of the best in the country. Our site was nicely shaded and had a fire pit.
