Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park, Metaline, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We were to be here a month but after the first week, workers were parked next to us. They would party til all hours. There dogs would bark nonstop. We went to management and asked to be moved. We were told "NO" and that if we didn't like it we could leave. The park was basically empty without being fully booked for the rest of the month. Still not sure why we couldn't move. Instead, we left the next day. Guess being quiet was against the rules. We camped at Mt. Linton RV & Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This has to be the cleanest park we have ever stayed in. The employees are out cleaning a site almost as soon as someone leaves. There are no weeds left untouched and garbage is never an issue. The dog runs are awesome and very clean. They are actually raked at least once a day if not more. They spray something to keep smells down as well. Almost like a "doggy resort". The only issue we found was the laundry room is a bit snug when busy, but always very clean. We will stay here again if in the area for sure. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Boulder Creek RV Resort, Lone Pine, California

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

More of a camping atmosphere than most RV parks. Campfires permitted at site. All sites are sand with no gravel or patio. Dog run is gigantic but there is only one. When making reservations, we expressed we might want to stay a week but only booked for one as we weren't sure. When we arrived, we were told if we wanted to stay a week we would probably have to move to different sites and our one night would not count toward a week with a free night. Almost felt like they discouraged us from staying more than one night. If in the area, we would stay again but would surely book for exactly what we would want. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA (formerly Desert Pools RV Resort), Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We paid $50 per night but read reviews that say it was $20+ a night, not sure why we paid more. If we had driven into the park to see the sites, we would not have stayed. The weeds are out of control and the dead trees make you wonder if anything is being done to improve this campground. The sites are all sand with no gravel. The WIFI is all but non existent and hard to get into. We will not stay in this RV park again unless it is improved. This park is also in a city that has one of the highest crime rates in the area and the flimsy gate does not make you feel safe. Having spikes if you come in the exit gate is something we have never encountered before and only made me wonder from the beginning who they were keeping out. We camped at Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA (formerly Desert Pools RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Saddle Mountain RV Park, Tonopah, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in this park this past season from November to March. This use to be a very desirable RV park but an egg farm has moved in not far from the park. With this egg farm has come an odor that can be quite unbearable at times and the flies are constant and many. As fewer people use the park, the amenities are becoming fewer and certain areas are now off limits to customers unless the manager wants to use them. There are a few that live in the park permanently but only one whose place is a disaster. We will not be staying here again. We camped at Saddle Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View RV Park, Huachuca City, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is a park dedicated to those that are staying here permanently. Most of those are in very, very poor condition. Overall, the park is dusty and dirty. The "dog walk" is a dust hole and would be a mud hole if it should rain. The web page and the park pamphlet call it an adult park but there are families here with small children. We will not return to this park. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Saddle Mountain RV Park, Tonopah, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We found this park to be one of the friendliest parks we have stayed in. We enjoyed our potlucks for Thanksgiving and Christmas with the park providing the turkeys. Management listened to all concerns or complaints and takes corrective action when necessary. The sites are very large with plenty of room for vehicles. Security is always out and about even at night, so we felt very safe. We have already booked for next year to stay again. We camped at Saddle Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tradewinds RV Park, Golden Valley, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Another park of mostly permanents. Some were clean and some were quite a mess. No one was friendly including the management. The "club house" was dark and uninviting and the television did not work. The only good thing about this park was the laundry room. Overall we found it quite depressing and will not return. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park), Alamo, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean park with level sites. The owners were very considerate and kind. We were led to our site, and he assisted my husband getting pulled in. The wifi is better than most we have been in. Someone had posted this was an RV park with lots of garbage from the permanent residents, but that isn't so. Maybe they were in a different park? We would stay here again on our travels. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.
