This park is convenient. That being said it is VERY tight. They want one of their people to show you how to park. After 20 years of full-timing my wife and I know each other very well and signals from a stranger can be confusing. We have never hit a power pedestal or water spigot. After several attempts he left us to ourselves and things went fine. I can understand their concern considering the tight spaces and turns. Nice office staff and good wifi. Quiet considering closeness to highway. Probably wouldn't stay here again considering cost but I realize I was paying for convenience.

Date of Stay:

There are no great amenities, but everything is clean and it is great for an overnight stop. All pull throughs seemed to be for short term. Manager was very nice and helpful. Good wifi and cell service. No problem for satellite.

This may be a very nice park in the future, but it is in the developmental stage! We had called 45 days previously for reservations. As we were getting close, we called around 11:45 AM to see if anyone would be in the "office" during the lunch hour. No answer; left message and telephone number. Arrived around 1 pm and had reservations for two nights (made on June 24); no one there (only "office" was an RV with flat tires) so we called campground number again and left another message. Additionally, there were four other names and numbers on a big board in front of RV so we called all of them and left messages. One gentleman called me back and said they were out of town and a lady was on duty. Left another message for her and explained what the gentleman said to me. We saw an empty spot (only one) so assumed it was ours and set up. (It was the only empty spot) No one came back that night and no one called. No one called on Monday. Around 6:25 pm a woman showed up at our RV site, presumably the lady I called. Apparently, they had no record of our calling and making a reservation, and she said she did not get any voice mail messages either. Thankfully, no one needed our spot Monday evening so we paid $35/night (very pricey for this new park without laundry facilities or office). FYI, all but one site are for long-term campers. That one site was full for a week (we had already talked with them to see what they knew about checking in). Hopefully, they will have short-term camp sites sometime in the future. It is VERY close to railroad tracks and they are VERY ACTIVE day and night. Long-term campers are workers and start their diesel engines early; i.e., 5:30 am. On the plus side for this RV Park, these are large, long RV sites; mostly pull thru sites; fairly good WIFI and cell service; no problem with satellites since no trees. If you are looking for a short term stay, look elsewhere. We would not stay here again.

We wanted to visit the Meteor Crater and this was as close as it gets. Very friendly and organized staff. Nice wide pull thru's, wide sites. Very clean. Good wifi. Someone else said that getting satellite was hard due to trees. He must have the dish permanently mounted on the roof. We don't and satellite was no problem and we did see many with roof mounts that had a clear shot. Someone also said the gate was too narrow. Could see no problem. I-40 noise was no problem, nor were trains. We would definitely stay here again.

A basic CG but that is all we wanted. Not visually appealing but we were there for one reason; to visit the Petrified Forest. Wifi was good and owners very friendly. We were in a site that blocked the freeway noise so everything was pretty quiet. Would stay here again.

We were a little leery about this park but it was a pleasant surprise. The staff was extremely polite, it was convenient to everything we wanted, and it was very quiet. It was clean and the wifi was good. They have lot's of activities, if you are into that. Yes, it is a little outdated but many are and we aren't looking for a lot of "fu-fu". Yes we would stay here again.

One of the few parks we would give a 10! I will admit we were here after Labor Day and the "rug rats" were gone but, boy, is it peaceful! They are putting in a new Wi-Fi system and it is improving. Poor AT&T. Sites are nicely spaced and do require some leveling, but that goes with the territory. The peacefulness makes up for it! We plan to return. Rate reflects Coast-to-Coast member rate.

Very friendly staff, both at check-in and after. We had picked our site earlier therefore it was easy in and out and good satellite access. Site was adequate and not too close to neighbor. Good Wi-Fi. No AT&T. Close enough to Estes Park (4.5 miles) to be convenient. We would stay here again. Rate reflects Passport America discount.

We have been staying here since 1996 as we have relatives in Helena and it is basically the only game in town. Good pull-through sites. Good utilities. Good satellite access. Fair AT&T. Good Wi-Fi. One problem is getting an answer when you call, and they don't accept reservations via the Internet. Price is a little steep but I guess I can't expect it to be the same as 1996. We would say here again.

After arriving and going to site, found that 30 amp was no good so we used an adapter and plugged into 50 amp, which was fine. Cable connection was "toast". I added new connector but still didn't work. Sites were pretty close but not a problem as we had good neighbors. They have a watering schedule and tell you about it; the only problem being that there is too much water and we had to wade through it for about an hour until it drained. This place FILLS UP on weekends with tents but, happily, everyone behaved. Good satellite access. Good AT&T. Might camp here again. Rate reflects Coast-to-Coast membership.

Very nice park. Lots of people but they were quiet. Lots of space between sites. Good ATT. Could not get satellite from our site but many others could. Only problem was not being allowed in prior to 2:00 PM. We arrived @ 1:15 and had to wait in a parking lot and it was HOT. We would camp here again. Rate reflects Golden Age Pass.

Date of Stay:

A previous review said these sites were too close. They could be further apart but I have been in one a lot closer! Nice park. Fair ATT, depending on site, satellite is accessible. As in many places, the "dogs on leash" applies to everyone but their dog. Good swimming access though we didn't use it. Rate reflects Golden Age Pass. Would camp here again.

There are two areas in this park. If you want satellite take the upper level. On the lower you will be so far in trees it will be nearly impossible. Wi-Fi is available for a cost and it is TengoInternet, which doesn't say too much for it. Very friendly staff and since we were on the top level it worked well for us. A bear got in the enclosed garbage area three nights in a row and made a mess but the staff cleaned it up PDQ. Good AT&T. Would stay here again (on top level!). This a nice park, especially for fishermen. It has three tiers. The lower two, which offer the best view, are TOO tight. The upper one (east side of 101)is much roomier and nicer, but doesn't afford a view. Satellite is accessible from most sites. One day before leaving we were told the best Wi-Fi signal. Were not told this on entering and had to use clubhouse where signal is poor. AT&T was good. Fair laundry. Machines have seen their best days. Rate reflects Coast-to-Coast member rate.

Date of Stay:

This park has mixed reviews. We liked it. Large sites that are very private. Lots of woods. If you want satellite ask when you register and they will show you where the best sites are, then you pick your own. Bring lots of co-ax. We had no problem. Wifi is at clubhouse only. Would have been better with sewer as we were here for a week but--"Blue Boy". Fair ATT service. One of the few C2C parks that lets non-members stay over a holiday. Rate reflects C2C. We would stay here again.
