Sandy Lake RV Park, Carrollton, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The only good thing I can say about the park is that the staff and residents all seem to be very courteous and helpful. I have been RVing for around 40 years and this is one of the worst campgrounds I have found. Extremely crowded to the extent the RV's almost touched each other. My RV is 50 amp, but had to get by on 30. I guess, though, that when all of the available sites are full, as they seemed to be, they must be doing something right, although it was hard for me to see what it is. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this park to anyone. We camped at Sandy Lake RV Park in a Campground Cabin.

Wichita Falls RV Park, Wichita Falls, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $34.00

Excellent campground. Friendly courteous hosts. Sites are all roomy and the whole campground is very well maintained. I would not want to stay at another campground in Wichita Falls. It is really great in all respects. We camped at Wichita Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hargus RV Park (formerly Wink's R.V. Park), Clinton, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We got by for one night but would not stay here again except as a last resort. Very crowded with oilfield workers. Quiet but not attractive at all. Just a place to stop and sleep. We would only stay here again if there were no other choice. We camped at Hargus RV Park (formerly Wink's R.V. Park) in a Motorhome.
