We thought Lewis and Clark State Park in Williston, ND was great, but Ft. Stevenson State Park in Garrison, ND was even greater! The spaces were huge, with lots of trees around them. The roads were paved and easy to navigate. We had full hook-ups, a fire pit, a picnic table, the works. Plus the marina isn't very far and they sell ice cream. The entire park was in pristine condition and very quiet. The staff were courteous and ready to help with anything you needed.

We have stayed at several state parks throughout our trip, but this one was the best we have been in. It was a pleasant surprise because of the beauty of the area and the layout of the park. Our space was big and level and so private. We had trees all around and the peacefulness was wonderful. What a joy our 3 nights there were. The staff couldn't have been more courteous and helpful.

We spent three nights in this RV park. We had full hook-ups. That was the good things. We were put way back in the park because "the season hadn't started" The space was small and had no picnic table or anything else for that matter. We toured Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Unit 1 and 2 and the ND Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Chateau Mores and shopped in the little town. The overall experience was good.

We stayed here 5 nights. We weren't disappointed with the facility. The park is in a beautiful pine tree setting and you can see the beautiful lake from some of the spots. Our spot was level and all utilities worked great. The wifi was in and out on occasion, but worked most of the time. There was internet connection closer to the office where you could sit and use your computer/phone. The owner was working on getting the wifi/phone service to some of the lower spots. It was a quiet park and the owners and staff were quite friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 5th wheel. If we ever come this way again, this will be the park to stay.

We stayed here the end of April and the first of May, 2017. Beautiful park. Laid out so that all the trailers/motor homes have shade on the patio in the afternoons. Concrete/asphalt sites with picnic tables, concrete patios and most have trees and flowers planted at each site. There were outdoor grills at sites also. We were on the back side of the park away from the traffic. It was very quiet and a beautiful spot. The price was reasonable. Had a laundry, which I didn't use, but glad it was there. We would stay here again.

We pulled in late evening, hooked up water and electricity. The weather was terrible...wind blowing, snowing and cold which had nothing to do with the park except that the electricity kept cutting in and out. The wifi worked intermittently.

We stayed here in a 5th wheel. The park was clean and the staff were friendly. We stayed hooked-up as we were there just one night, but the park was quiet even though there were a lot of construction workers leaving early in the morning. I would stay at this park again.

This park was clean, quiet and had a great pool. We didn't swim, but for $3 each, the staff let my grandchildren, who live in Las Cruces, and their friends swim. We had a wonderful wide, level space next to the public gazebo where we enjoyed the lights of Las Cruces. We will definitely stay here again. As an aside, the wifi wasn't too reliable.

We have stayed here several times with our family. It has the most beautiful view of the mountains around Raton and the spaces are plenty big. It is a little bit dirty and in the summer it rains nearly everyday. Other than that, it is a picturesque, peaceful place. It is quiet and there are no street lights!

We stayed here over the Memorial Day week-end. It is 400 miles from our home, but it is always nice to be in the Chama, NM area. The sites are level, big and shady. We spent a lot of time under the trees. There was a rowdy bunch around us...no knowledge about camping etiquette, but there isn't much you can do about that. We stayed through Memorial Day so most all the campers had gone by then. The grounds are immaculate as are the restrooms. Again, we enjoyed our visit.

We pulled into this RV park in early evening. It was beautiful with large shade trees and plenty of grass and it was right on the river. We couldn't believe there was such a place in Junction, TX! We only stayed one night and didn't unhook. There was full hook-ups and it was mostly level. The only thing was they charge you $30 per night plus $5 per head in the truck including the driver! I thought that was strange. It was quiet and the ducks kept us entertained. There is a great little shop in Junction that carries dishes, country items, etc., but didn't get to stay long. We left early the next morning.

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed it immensely. The park was cement and grass and very large. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. They had a laundry room, and a beautiful pool. We expected this park to be closer to the water, but it was 1/2 mile from it! We walked the beach and watched the contestants of Sand Fest getting ready for the contest the week-end coming up. We shopped and bought fresh shrimp right off the boat which was great. We also visited Rockport, TX. Be aware that most of the shops are closed on Sundays! We toured parts of the King Ranch by bus with a guide. What an experience!

We stayed here for several nights while vacationing with our friends, who also had a 5th wheel trailer. We explored the missions and went downtown to the riverwalk and around the area. There is public transportation, a bus, that picks you up right across the street from the RV park and takes you downtown, or catch a different bus to different destinations. The cost was minimal, but have the right change (quarters, I think). The park is laid out great, the spaces are all concrete and plenty of grass and shade. The spaces are level and the hook-ups are close. The pool and hot tub were great! Do not use your GPS. use the directions the people at the RV park tell you to use. We will stay here again.

We had a pleasant surprise when pulling into the park. It is neat looking, the spaces are wide and shady. So shady in space #61 we couldn't pull in as the trees needed trimming. We did find a nice spot and enjoyed our stay. I would give this park a 9 if they would trim the trees and cut a few weeds around the permanent resident's trailers. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Would stay here again. Stayed in a 5th wheel.

This is our second stay at this park since April, 2015. They had made quite a bit of improvements and we appreciate it. The spaces are wide enough and the cable worked well. We enjoyed our stay here.
