McGreer Camper Park, Big Springs, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Although this was not the best laid out or equipped campground we've stayed at, it was the most pleasant for my taste. As advertised, it is on a working farm, which I really enjoyed. The camping area is small, so it doesn't feel like an RV city. Just nice to be connected to real life, with the owners' puppy and kids around. It does smell like a farm, so that has to be okay with you. The spot we camped in had soft ground, rather than gravel or concrete. Most of the campers appear to be folks working on roads, as all the cars were gone early in the morning. It's the only campground we've stayed in where I took pictures - more to see than just RVs. The hookups were fine, good Wi-Fi, clean (though old) restrooms. We camped at McGreer Camper Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fernley RV Park, Fernley, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was the first RV park we ever stayed in, and it set our expectation high. Concrete, level, pull thru sites. Everything clean and convenient. Friendly people. It was too cold to sit outside, but there were picnic tables and nice spacing between sites. Only stayed one night, but everything was perfect. What a great start for our trip! We camped at Fernley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, everything clean and convenient. Very friendly owner. We just stayed one night, but it was entirely pleasant. Pull thru sites with nice level spaces, not too close together. Nice pet area. We camped at Angel Lake RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
