The Refuge on Roanoke Island, Wanchese, North Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park with only a dozen overnight spots. The rest of the spaces are taken by long term lease by the folks from Virgina who come down on the weekend, holidays, etc. It is close to most of the sights on the Outer Banks and a great place ot use as a base while exploring the sights. The lady who manages the place was super nice and friendly. We were the only campers in the park beside the manager and her husband. We stayed here four nights while exploring the Banks. Would stay here again if ever back in this area. I highly recommend it. The park is part of the Camp Club USA network but has a two night limit for the discount. We loved the area. Lots to see and do. We camped at The Refuge on Roanoke Island in a Motorhome.

An excellent park with long long wide pull throughs. Very friendly lady at the desk lead us to our site. The park was very nicely decorated for Christmas with many trees decorated to look like Christmas trees and lot of other decorations throughout the park. A very nice touch. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Motorhome.

Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls, Brandon, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This park was being run by teenagers. Usually they did not know what they were doing. The park is nice but they needed adult supervision for the workers. We camped at Jellystone Park Camp Resort at Sioux Falls in a Motorhome.
