Junction/North Llano River RV Park, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night on our way to Arizona. I made a reservation in advance. No one was at the office when we arrived. We waited 20 minutes and someone finally arrived to check us in. I believe we were in space 35. The spaces were nice. There was dog poop around our space. About two hours after arriving we experienced a power spike on our 50 amp power. The power spike it turned out damaged two of our air conditioning units to the point that they had to be replaced. Yes we had a protector on the motorhome and on the power pedestal. Obviously because of the power problem we would not recommend this park and we would not stay here again. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeview RV Resort, Houston, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice well kept park, mostly full-timers. Biggest problem is parking. Management allows residents to park just about anywhere. The space next to us had a boat, pickup truck, car and a 5th wheel. The car and the truck are parked in the street. At night the streets have cars parked everywhere. We chose this place to be close to the Medical Center. We haven't noticed any noise problem, our site has been nice and quiet. Our first site was terrible but they moved us to a better site. We camped at Lakeview RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Triple T RV Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night. The traffic noise was terrible. The park was nearly empty, now I know why. The grass between the sites was dead and full of stickers. We were charged $20 even though the PPA shows the price as $17.50.

We called ahead since we were arriving at around 5 pm. The campground was gated so we have to push the call button to open the gate. The manager opened the gate remotely. As I pulled forward to go thru the gate it started to close. The closing gate hit the front of my RV. The next day I waited until the office opened at 9 am. I talked to the manager about the damage. She said she would have to have the OWNER look at the damage. I waited for an hour but the owner did not show up.

WE would not stay here AGAIN. We camped at Triple T RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Endless Caverns Resort, New Market, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This was a one night stop on our trip to Mass. Escort to site. Extra charge ($5) for 50 amp We had FHU There is a civil war memorial and museum nearby which was very interesting. We had a pull-thru but had to back out because exit was so steep and the turn was too sharp. This is a very hilly campground with gravel roads. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.

Western Village RV Park, Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean Park. One of the drawbacks were the trees which blocked any chance of a satellite TV signal. This a large park so there was a lot of vehicle traffic and we were near the entrance. Getting in and out of the site was very tight even though it was a pull-through. We camped at Western Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We were here over Memorial Day, lots of group parties across the street from our site. Interior roads are dirt and some gravel. We had a pull-through site, with grass around the site. This park was OK but we will try another park next trip. We camped at Cypress Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here five nights. Camped with some friends from Charleston and Alabama Very nice park Would stay here again when in Charleston. Interior roads were somewhat narrow but with care I was able to make all the turns. Getting into and out of the park is difficult do to the heavy traffic on hwy 17. I found that by turning right out of the park, then turning right at the next intersection and basically going around the block solved the problem, Most of the traffic problem is caused by the left turning traffic at the intersection backing up, We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Motorhome.

Beaver Run RV Park, Metter, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for one night. All campsites are dirt with some gravel. The staff was friendly. The biggest drawback to this park were the flies. Flies everywhere. They need to spray this place. A lot of full time, permanent residents. We would not stay here again because of the fly problem. A lot of trees which blocked the satellite signal. We camped at Beaver Run RV Park in a Motorhome.
