Date of Stay:

This was a one night stop on our trip to Mass. Escort to site. Extra charge ($5) for 50 amp We had FHU There is a civil war memorial and museum nearby which was very interesting. We had a pull-thru but had to back out because exit was so steep and the turn was too sharp. This is a very hilly campground with gravel roads.

Date of Stay:

We dry camped the first 3 nights ($50 a night). We got into a regular site for the next 4 days($85 a night). We had water and 50 amp electric. This park is not one to write home about but the location is the best.

Nice clean Park. One of the drawbacks were the trees which blocked any chance of a satellite TV signal. This a large park so there was a lot of vehicle traffic and we were near the entrance. Getting in and out of the site was very tight even though it was a pull-through.

Date of Stay:

We were here over Memorial Day, lots of group parties across the street from our site. Interior roads are dirt and some gravel. We had a pull-through site, with grass around the site. This park was OK but we will try another park next trip.

Stayed here five nights. Camped with some friends from Charleston and Alabama Very nice park Would stay here again when in Charleston. Interior roads were somewhat narrow but with care I was able to make all the turns. Getting into and out of the park is difficult do to the heavy traffic on hwy 17. I found that by turning right out of the park, then turning right at the next intersection and basically going around the block solved the problem, Most of the traffic problem is caused by the left turning traffic at the intersection backing up,

Stayed here for one night. All campsites are dirt with some gravel. The staff was friendly. The biggest drawback to this park were the flies. Flies everywhere. They need to spray this place. A lot of full time, permanent residents. We would not stay here again because of the fly problem. A lot of trees which blocked the satellite signal.

Very nice park. We stayed here two years ago and this is our second time here. There is a shuttle to the French Quarter three times a day for $6/person. There is a restaurant and bar in the park. Campsites are gravel with grass. Each site has a picnic table.

Have stayed here before (Nov2014). Stayed for 6 days this time. Mixture of park models and RV's. Stayed in the short term area near the front this time. 50 amp, water, sewer. At least 50 channels on TV antenna. Free WiFi. Free happy Hour at the pool several times a week. Two nice pools. Friendly people 55+ resort. Would definitely stay here again. Campsites are gravel with concrete pad next to RV.
