We stayed one night in a motorhome. Fairly level gravel sites, very helpful and nice staff, clean restrooms. A very pleasant place to stay on your I-40 travels. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Needles KOA in a Motorhome.

WaKeeney KOA, WaKeeney, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

I gave this a high rating because it is exactly what I hoped and expected it to be -- a good way station to spend the night in the middle of nowhere. The hookups were easy, the people were nice, the bathrooms were spotless. There is freeway noise but that calms down late at night because there isn't a lot of traffic going through the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night! A perfect place to stop and regroup when driving across Kansas, midway between KC and Denver. We camped at WaKeeney KOA in a Motorhome.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This is a KOA, so no, it's not a "resort" with a lot of fancy amenities. What it is, though, is an exceptionally clean park, with very friendly and accommodating staff, with a great playground area for the kids and very clean bathrooms and showers. The sites are gravel, but we did not have to use levelers. A very well maintained park. We stayed here for 2 nights and would stay here again without hesitation. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

Dillon KOA, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here twice and liked it a lot. The place is older but well maintained. The restrooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly and the owners are great. Very accommodating folks. Lots of trees, and our site, while gravel, was very level. A great place to park your rig and relax. We will be happy to stay here again. We camped at Dillon KOA in a Motorhome.

Fillmore KOA, Fillmore, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

It's in the middle of nowhere, but don't let that fool you. This is a wonderful, intimate campground. The people who run this place are very friendly, accommodating and clearly care about the property. Restrooms are very clean. The campground itself is immaculate. There is grass between the spaces, which are gravel, but level. Lots of trees and shade. Flat prairie surrounds the park, which is starkly beautiful. Very easy on and off to the I-15. We stayed for one night in a motorhome and, if we ever find ourselves traveling in these parts again, I would look forward to staying here. We camped at Fillmore KOA in a Motorhome.

Riverside RV Park, Brookings, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

I almost hate to write a glowing review about this place because I want to keep it all to myself. It is a little piece of paradise on the Chetco River. The people are wonderful. The restrooms are very clean, as are the showers. Brookings is a great little town. We loved it here, have returned since our first visit and have plans to return again. We camped at Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.
