What a lovely park. We had a well groomed, long pull thru spot. Right on the river. No need to unhook. Friendly welcome from the owner and her three gentle Labs. A big favorite with fishermen, but also a good base for exploring the area.

Just a one night stop, but what a lovely one. Level concrete pads atop a gentle hill for easy pull thru. Fishing pond with pier, gazebo, pine grove along the shore. Excellent information packet covers all the bases. On-site RV repairs, propane, cable, WiFi- even pizza delivery to your site. Only one mile off I-40 with RV accessible Crossroads Cafe and 2 gas stations along the way.

Hardworking and welcoming new owners are working on improvements on this well-located, older park midway between Pueblo and Royal Gorge. Less than 10 miles to Walmart with 360 degree views of plains and mountains. Not fancy, but clean restrooms, hot showers and inexpensive laundry. Stopped for 2 nights with a Passport discount and stayed an extra week. Would definitely visit again.

Came for a few nights and stayed several weeks. Hosts were great. We enjoyed their hospitality at the cafe as well as in the campground. This is a small campground, but very friendly with occasional potlucks. Back off the road and lots of deer in the meadows. Great location between the town of Custer and Custer State Park. We would definitely visit again.
