Kla-Mo-Ya Casino, Chiloquin, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Casino with overnight parking for RVs. Right on the road, but it quiets down in the evening, so not a problem. Shade trees and grassy islands were nice, but still got until the sun went down. Ate in the casino twice and both times above average. The Cobb salad was very generous, great quality and attractively composed- I was impressed! Has station adjacent was a great convenience. We camped at Kla-Mo-Ya Casino in a Motorhome.

Likely Place RV & Golf Resort, Likely, California

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

In the middle of nowhere, but such a beautiful location, not far off 395! There is a well marked entrance (signs and flags) to a long and winding road, but don't worry. It's not that long, the pavement is in excellent condition and although it looks narrow, a huge Waste Management truck coming the opposite way got by us with no problem. The site is on a rise, giving it great views of surrounding hills and meadows. Sites are well laid out in gravel with grass between. Utilities are well located. We don't golf, but enjoyed the friendly clubhouse/cafe, welcoming staff and a great breakfast before we departed. We camped at Likely Place RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Catfish Junction RV Park & Campgrounds, Huntington, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

What a lovely park. We had a well groomed, long pull thru spot. Right on the river. No need to unhook. Friendly welcome from the owner and her three gentle Labs. A big favorite with fishermen, but also a good base for exploring the area. We camped at Catfish Junction RV Park & Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Haggard's RV Campground, Pueblo West, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Hardworking and welcoming new owners are working on improvements on this well-located, older park midway between Pueblo and Royal Gorge. Less than 10 miles to Walmart with 360 degree views of plains and mountains. Not fancy, but clean restrooms, hot showers and inexpensive laundry. Stopped for 2 nights with a Passport discount and stayed an extra week. Would definitely visit again. We camped at Haggard's RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Wheels West RV Park, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Came for a few nights and stayed several weeks. Hosts were great. We enjoyed their hospitality at the cafe as well as in the campground. This is a small campground, but very friendly with occasional potlucks. Back off the road and lots of deer in the meadows. Great location between the town of Custer and Custer State Park. We would definitely visit again. We camped at Wheels West RV Park in a Motorhome.
