The park for bit hard with the fall rains. Apparently most of the facilities got flooded and they are in the process of renovating. The laundry is finally open and the family center is the hub of activity until the adult center is finished, should be by the end of the month. The roads are in need of repair, as they are very pot holed. The member activities are still going on and the staff is working hard to get the park back into tip top shape. We had no problem with the electric or WiFi through our Verizon hotspot.

OK for overnight only. No cable, no WiFi, no discounts. Very narrow sites. Sign in at adjacent liquor store. Stayed because all the others in the area were full. Would pass on this park in the future.

Basic no frills park. No "office", just a drop slot. Payment based on the honor system. Maintenance man came by and said to pay on your way out. We stayed here for two weeks. Clean relatively quiet park. About half the slots are filled with long term residents. Clean and no too junky sites. No grass burrs. The residents we interacted with seemed friendly. This park is mostly overnight stop for folks traveling through. The park is located about two miles east of the Amarillo city limits. Just down the road from the Big Texan steakhouse. We would definitely stay here again. The Passport America price makes this a terrific value. Easy on easy off from the interstate.

Fairly new park with basic amenities and asphalt sites. Back in. Friendly staff. Good park for overnight or base for Lubbock activities. Open area with no trees. Park is only about a year old and the owners are developing all the time. Would stay here again. Probably best to call ahead to get directions to park.

After finding the park (GPS was trying to send us 50miles south.) the park was not bad. Some potholes to maneuver around. Staff was helpful. Sites are gravel and dirt. La natural for the area. Acceptable for the price. Acceptable for an overnight stop. Good 50 amp and Verizon WiFi is strong. Would stay again for an overnight stop.

Read the other reviews. Had low expectations. Was still disappointed. The park was across the street from the motel. Tiny sign directing you to register at motel. The clerk had to hunt for the manager. The park was horrible. Even the tumbleweed was dirty and unkept.

Stayed in site 19, an interior site so the loud band was not a problem. Level gravel site. Be sure to call ahead as the sites are filling up with local construction workers. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again if in the area.

Very nice overnight stay. No cable but sat friendly. Located behind strip shopping center but far enough not to be a problem. Would stay again.

Beautiful park, nice spaced sites. No cable, no satellite, but enough ota channels for overnight. Campground is in the middle of a grove of really tall trees. Friendly staff.

Small campground. The staff was very helpful. They provided classes on mining and have washtubs set up for cleaning tailings from the mine. Also provided screen sets and shovels for guests at no addl charge. About a mile from the mine entrance. There are no over the air channels but all these sites are sat friendly. With such a small park recommend calling ahead for reservations. Sites were gravel and mostly level.

Clean park. Easy to access. Limited cable, only 25 channels. Quite a few permanent residents, though no problem. Friendly helpful staff. Clean rec room.

Limited sites, good overnight stop.

Nice level gravel sites. Staff friendly and helpful. Located adjacent to highway and train tracks. The train whistles lull you to sleep at night, but there is some noise from the highway. Stayed three nights. Would stay again if in the area.

We stayed here during balloon fiesta 2013. We had originally reserved for 10 day and had to pay half up front. Before we arrived we decided to only stay 7 days. So besides the half we paid we still had to pay $150 dollars to stay beyond the 5 days we had already pay for. I expected to pay $90 for the add'l 2 days. They used a creative method. The sites were not that level and the residents were coming and going a all hours creating much dust. We realize that the balloon fiesta is a money grab but this was ridiculous and this was a resorts park international park. We are not going back.
