Bay Mills RV Park, Brimley, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This is just a nice park. The sites are large, we had a full hookup with small view of Whitefish Bay(site 98). There is a Casino across the street. Plenty of good food easily accessed. Not all sites are full hookups. No trees or shrubbery. Gravel road and sites. Level sites. Great manager, very personable and helpful(Jill). Good location for being a tourist and making day trips to attractions and historic educational experiences. Quiet Park comfortable to just hang out in as well. We are Full time RV'ers and this was our 1st time to the UP. This place is no frills but a great stop. Would definitely return. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent staff (co-managing couples). Park is on the river. Sites large, privacy fences between site. Easy access to river trail and river. Wifi not the greatest unless close to office. Restrooms sparkling clean. Good Laundry facilities with good prices. Great Park. we will return! We camped at Tuckasegee RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Rafting close by. Casino 8 miles away. Not much in the way of close by restaurants. Try Jose's Southwestern grill (closest). Beautiful Western NC mountains.

Wilson's Riverfront RV Park, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park has great potential but for us the good did not outweigh the bad. We were given no information unless we asked such as wifi code, code for restroom, trash receptacle or pick up, cable. There appeared to be no rules as dogs ran free with no clean up by owner. People and small unattended children went through our site without respect. River sites were beautiful. Location good. We camped at Wilson's Riverfront RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

New Green Acres RV Park , Walterboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice park for us. We stayed only one night but found everything we needed. Sites were comfortably large, grass, pull-through, and level. We were close to the interstate but noise was not bad. The entrance into the park was terribly littered, not giving us a good first impression. The management should send someone out there to clean that up would be my only recommendation. We camped at New Green Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hidden Hilltop Family Campground, Glenholme, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Place was crazy with kids. Perfect for them, didn't work so well for us. Wi-Fi wasn't working. Pull-through site adequate but very tight. Went there unplanned so did not know what to expect. We did get out of the pouring rain. Many very happy "seasonals". We were in a 36' rig. Would not return. Rowdy crowd. We camped at Hidden Hilltop Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Harrington Family Campground & RV Park, Harrington, Prince Edward Island

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Initially we were put off by entrance looked old and unkempt. We drove past a fallen down house on way to office. We were the only ones there 3 days. Owner pleasant. He lives on property but not actually on camping area. First night i was frightened by the unknown and isolation but then felt safe. Grass level sites. Golf driving range attached. Has good potential but future looks gloomy. Park 1/2 mile away was almost full. Rate was Passport America during high season. I we would camp there again if returned to PEI. We camped at Harrington Family Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Scenic RV Resort, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Management & staff excellent- friendly and helpful. Clubhouse spacious and clean. Pool available in season. Laundry on site is more reasonable than Laundromat Wooded sites. We were not able to connect to Satellite. No Wi-Fi or cable available. Sites are not level or large but staff will assist in whatever it takes to level and facilitate settling into site. Convenient to Asheville and Western NC attractions. Showers could use more cleaning attention. This is our 3rd year to stay a month at this park. Despite any shortcomings we will return again next year. We camped at Scenic RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Interesting. No one here but us plus 1 more. Price was right. Site level. 50 amp pull-through site. Quiet. Seems like it needs some grooming. Adequate for overnight stay and if working near by. Town and restaurants handy. Walmart close. We camped at The Woodlands RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
