Mt. Kidd RV Park, Kananaskis, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Mt. Kidd RV Park and it was great again. It's a very clean and well kept RV park that has the feel of a provincial park with the large and fairly private sites. The scenery is great as well as the service. Lots of things for kids to do to keep busy as well. We camped at Mt. Kidd RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Medora Campground, Medora, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped for one night on the way through. Seemed like a little decent place next to the river and the badlands. Nice and easy to find about just off the interstate. The washrooms and showers were old but were pretty clean. Medora is a pretty small place but it's very touristy and was kind of neat to check out. Wifi worked well. We camped at Medora Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Mount Rushmore KOA, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to camp with kids as there are a lot of things for them to do, and most of it is included in the regular rate. If you're used to a "RV Park" type of place, where you don't have much space, then you'll be fine. I didn't expect the privacy of a state or provincial park as I chose the full hookups over the privacy since most of our days were spent checking out the Black Hills. Only gave it a 7 since I think they could knock about $10 off the nightly rate. We camped at Mount Rushmore KOA in a Travel Trailer.
