Happy Hills Family Campground, Hancock, Maryland

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. Bathrooms and showers clean and working. Very nice pool with kiddie pool too, staffed with a lifeguard. Lots of seasonals, but the overnight pull throughs are fairly small sites. Be choosy, many are sloped, a few are flat. About 7 miles from I-70, but the narrow, twisting, bumpy road feels more like 20 miles! We camped at Happy Hills Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Sparrow Pond Family Campground, Waterford, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Everything was very clean. Employees were very helpful, they held the laundry room open for me for an extra 90 min. one night. Nice big sites with shade trees, other sites clear for those who prefer that. We camped at Sparrow Pond Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice state park campground. Everything was clean. Right on the Pocomoke River, canoe and kayak rentals available, and there's a boat ramp. Nice big pool and fishing pond for the kids. We camped at Pocomoke River State Park in a Tent.
