Glen Ivy RV Park, Corona, California

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a permanent resident trailer park in every bad connotation that the word "trailer park" congers up in your mind. Lots of trailers with lots of stuff piled outside around them. Lots of unruly people arguing loudly. Supposedly there was even a shootout here a few years ago according to one resident. It's like being packed in a sardine can! Yes, you're very "friendly" with your neighbors whether you want to be or not! They advertise wifi, but no, it doesn't work. Was going to stay longer but left the next day. Walmart is a lot nicer and safer as well. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beachcomber Camping Resort, Cape May, New Jersey

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Way way over priced! Checking in was a "Chinese fire drill". Finally found the site, roads are tight. Sewer was too far away, hose would not reach, site was not level, and lots of mud. They have the "old fashioned" cable box they give you after a big deposit. It would not work with my 12 volt 2017 TV. Many many kids here driving around and around in golf carts. This place is like an insane asylum! If you come, bring lots of alcohol, you'll need it. I can't believe that there are that many people that come here more than once! Masochists? We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Jude Travel Park, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here about a week. Bare bones park in a commercial/ industrial area with bus transportation at the locked gates on the street right outside the park entrance, however this is a "rough" area as is most of the city. It's only a 10 minute drive to the French Quarter and parking, compared to other big cities, is cheap! Good park to set out and explore from with very accomodating management. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Deaton RV Park, Wildwood, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly a winter over Senior park in a great location near The Villages and Leesburg, and a short drive to the attractions of the Mt Dora area. The park is very pet friendly and has a small fenced dog park. There are also a number of art/crafts, games, dinners, and other social activities available at the clubhouse. Apparently there is new management here and the place is undergoing some improvements. The manager and employees here are extremely accommodating. Overall, a nice reasonably priced place to spend the winter. We camped at Lake Deaton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake End Park Campground, Morgan City, Louisiana

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice city park on the water. All amenities except cable, I was only able to bring in the local channel which had awful programing and was only on air a short time each day. This park is used by the locals as a weekend party destination and is an interesting and fun kinda place! We camped at Lake End Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Beacon RV Park & Marina, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little bare bones older park. Very well managed and cared for. Mainly Winter Texans who, for the main part are very friendly, as are the managers. The location has to be the best in Rockport/Fulton area, with the bay directly across the street and within easy walking distance of a good number of restaurants and bars along the water. The only place we would think of staying in this area. We'll be back I'm sure. We camped at Beacon RV Park & Marina in a Motorhome.

Eastlake RV Resort, Houston, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here three months- 2014. Very new very large park. Mostly contract refinery type workers with their families. There is a very nice pool area with a wet bar refrigerators ice etc., club house, and playground. Great dog walking area, but not fenced in. The managers here seem to be on top of everything. This park is very well run. My only 2 complaints were that the dumpsters were only located at the front of the park and seemed to be always overflowing. Also, if you have a motor home with a larger self contained LP tank you will have to totally unhook everything and drive to the front of the park to fill up with propane. What a pain. I would not stay here again. We camped at Eastlake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lakeview Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Spent a week here, office and all the staff were very accommodating. Nice setting on the "lake", really a river! Fishing here is VERY convenient. It's a short walk along the river to restaurants, bars and shopping. The main streets of town were a couple of blocks more. Of course you'll have to drive the few miles to the strip out on the highway to go to the shows etc. If we were to return this would be the park. We camped at Lakeview Campground in a Motorhome.

Great family campground and very kid friendly. The grounds here are well taken care of, I should say they are well manicured! The owners are very friendly and accommodating. If you have kids this place I'm sure is a blast in warmer weather. The rate quoted is without any discounts. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Woodland Village RV and Mobile Home Park, Portage, Indiana

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet very very well kept park. If you have a dog there is a large well mowed grass field near the rear of park for exercise. The staff here is more than accommodating , ie, taking you to your site, and even helping you hook up! Yes, there are permanent mobile homes with families and some contractor transients, but seem to keep to themselves. My only complaint is the trains that run close to the park that seem to come every few minutes day and night. We camped at Woodland Village RV and Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.
