We loved this park. We had a pull through site right on the river. It was a spacious site with a lovely view. It is a very active campground during the day, but at night peaceful and quiet. We did not use the restrooms. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Maumelle COE in a Motorhome.

Avalon RV Park, Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

We decided at the last minute to go to an Alabama football game. As expected, RV sites were impossible to find. Called Sunset RV park and they said they had space at this park, their overflow park. As previous reviews state, it is a gravel parking lot with hook ups. For our purposes, it was fine. In fact, it is only 4 miles down the road to the stadium. It was surprisingly quiet at night. We camped at Avalon RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kountry Air RV Park, Prattville, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. It is a very pretty park. The new owners are very nice, friendly, and you can tell working hard to get this park in good shape. While a little ways from Prattville, it is worth the extra drive. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Kountry Air RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV Park, Opelika, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Like previous reviews, this is not a destination park. However, it is fine for an overnight. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a level pull through site. We are self contained so the lack of facilities didn't bother us. However, I am a light sleeper and it was too close to the noisy road for me. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mama Gertie's Hideaway Campground, Swannanoa, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. We stayed at the new section at the top of the mountain. There are no bath facilities built yet, which is fine with us as we are self contained. The views were incredible at our site. So peaceful and quiet. It was convenient to Asheville (more than I expected). We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Mama Gertie's Hideaway Campground in a Motorhome.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Perfect for an overnight. Friendly check in. Safe and clean with up to date hook ups. I am a light sleeper and asked for a quiet site away from the freeway, and they put us in the furthest row in the back. I slept great. We did not use the restrooms. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pine Mountain RV Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice and clean newer park. Great location. We planned to stay for a few days, but left after one night. We were in a premium site that was directly next to the bathhouse. I am a light sleeper and all night heard people coming and going to the bathhouse with the door continually slamming. The park was full, so we could not move to another site. They were apologetic and refunded the remaining nights of our stay. We would stay again as long as we were in the rows at the back end of the park. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here multiples times. It is convenient for seeing the sights in Nashville and there is a shuttle service for going downtown. However, it is not the prettiest campground and there can be road noise from the adjacent freeway. I am a light sleeper and have found that the sites near the big tent are the quietest. We did not use restrooms/laundry. We will stay here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

El Reno West KOA, El Reno, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here overnight. Friendly check in. Clean and tidy. Walked up to the restaurant for a piece of excellent coconut pie. However, it was hard to get a good night sleep. I am a light sleeper, and it was too noisy with the freeway close by. We did not use the restrooms. We camped at El Reno West KOA in a Motorhome.
