Calling this a RV park is a real stretch of the definition. The first site we were assigned was next to a motel building. We would not be able to open our slides on one side (too close to the neighbors) and we would not be able to deploy our awning (it would have hit the building). We found an open site and returned to the office. They finally agreed to let us have that site. Very poor communications and no knowledge of RVs. There were RVs parked side by side with very little room on black top parking lots...the cheaper sites. Utilities worked fine. We were there for 3 nights (advance reservations). Parking and entry to the Mt. Olympus water park were included in the price of the RV site charge but the advertising on the website was very misleading advertising $29. RV sites. When we made reservations and the 3 days came to $150. I questioned the difference and was told "fees". We would not stay here again.

A beautiful, well run, friendly park in the northern part of Door County, WI. Level, pea gravel sites, grassy yards, spacious sites with a canopy of trees had us at home as soon as we hooked up. Utilities were easy to access & water faucet even had a pressure restrictor on it. Easy, friendly, helpful staff helped us get settled & gave us a general explanation of what the area had to offer....this was our first time in the area. Very accommodating with the cable hook up. It is necessary to obtain a box and cables from the office...........they will help hook it up. We will definitely return to Hy-Land for a longer stay.

Stayed for a week to attend a RV rally, then 2 weeks later returned for an over night stay. The quoted rate of $18. was PA. The rally cost was more but included the rally facilities. Good facilities for indoor activities, meals, etc. Gravel pull thru sites not very level. There are very few trees and keeping the grass seems to be quite a problem, especially around the sewer connections. Their water/electric posts are set up to service 4 units, so 4 units back in back to back and run hoses around/under RVs to hook up. Sewers were on the opposite side from the pedestals. Route US 151 from I-80 is a concrete road that has no 2 slabs the same height........very rough road. Recommend exiting to US 6 early and seeing some beautiful IA farm country at a slower pace. The roads in the park are all gravel and in need of grading and leveling. They don't have to post 5 mph signs here. They don't have enough picnic tables so you have to acquire one if you want one.

Wonderful park. Spent a week in our motorhome. We will return. Concrete pads, patios, charcoal grill, FHU, cable, wifi, paved roads throughout. Very friendly staff.

Date of Stay:

1 overnight stop in motorhome. Park has a lot of long term units in it. Roads poorly maintained and our site was not level. No attendant on duty, left the payment in a mail box. It's ok for a quick stopover.

Stayed 4 nights over the 4th of July weekend. 50A, FHU, cable, wifi, picnic table. Rather expensive ..... not a resort although they have a lot of amenities. Gravel interior roads and sites. Roomy pull thru sites.

This park is under new management and there is a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere from the entire staff. FHU, 50A, wifi, cable, concrete patio, picnic table, shaded comfortable site last of June weather. The tree houses the new owners have built are great for family gatherings. They are so neat and well designed and thought out. Nicely located between Silver Dollar City and West Branson. Easily accessed with the variety of driving routes available around the busiest part of Branson. We will stay here again.

This park has so much potential but the city management has kept it on the back burner so long, it is loosing ground. They don't do maintenance until "things" are broken. Promises of additional 50A sites are never fulfilled. The 11 50A sites available all have a drainage ditch for a patio yard. The park will not allow converters to be used so 50A units are not allowed to park on 30A sites. The sites are gravel and not well maintained although most are pretty level. We camped at this park for 11 years so we have seen the lack of preventive maintenance and improvements first hand. To reserve a specific site, you must drive to the CG and pay in advance in full. No refunds. No credit cards. No reservations on a website. They are still in the 90s........1890s.

Stayed 1 night in motorhome. Rustic, peaceful country setting. FHU gravel sites, not completely level. The cleanliness "good" just means it is not manicured. It is kept up and the new owners are working very hard to fine tune their CG.

This is a horse ranch w/amenities. Pull thru level, hard packed site. FHU w/50A. Very peaceful, country setting. GPS took us right to it. We stayed 2 nights and they honored both nights with PA discount. We would stay again and ride the horses again. We were in a motor home.

We stayed at Lake Osprey RV Resort for 7 weeks, thus the "low" daily rate that is "required". Monthly rates are resonable. Wonderful quiet, peaceful country setting on a large lake w/palm trees. Spacious concrete pads, FHU, 50A, cable. Sites surrounding the lake are drive in sites. A motor home has your windshield facing the water. Appreciate 5th wheels being allowed on sight. Free laundry & free wash of vehicles on your site. 1 new pickleball court on site with the promise of another one for the 2015-16 season. Beautiful swimming pool & hot tub on the edge of the lake. Club house open for guests' use anytime. Grills & Tiki bar for parties/game gatherings. 30 minutes to beautiful white sand beaches of AL gulf coast. 1 hour to Mobile, AL. 30 minutes to Pensacola, FL.

Sunset Point RV resort at LBJ is a great park, (did I say 10+) operated by great staff (workampers)...very friendly and hospitable. We have stayed here 3 different times and the TX charm is obvious. Rest rooms and laundry are meticulous and the grounds are manicured. There is obviously pride involved in all who maintain the park. You can't beat the sunsets over LBJ, a constant level lake that surrounds 3 sides of Sunset Point RV resort. Lots of deer in the area. Very pet friendly........with rules and it is obvious pet owners follow the rules. Some shaded sites, some lake front sites, but even an interior site is great. Located away from cities or traffic.......very serene and peaceful. We will stay here again when in the area. Stayed in a pull thru site.

We stayed one night at Coyote Ranch, Wichita Falls. The "8" may be a little low as it appeared to be a sprawling ranch. Sites were paved but ours was not level. The paving on the sites was really narrow. No patio area and the grass was way over due for mowing. Paved roads. No shade on the row of sites we were put in and our unit had the door side facing west..........would be really hot normally. It rained and stormed all night while we were there so we did not get out and explore. Sure looks like they have a lot going on with all the extras on site. We would probably stay there again.

Beautiful gulf side resort. Rate was $345. for 7 days. 3 maintained fresh water ponds are on site with RV sites around them. This is an owner park. Many sites are complete with brick or stone fire places and stone tables/benches. All have paved, level sites with patios, beautiful palm trees and native flowers. Our site was just steps to the board walk to the gulf and we were backed up to a beautiful fresh water pond. Laundry room was adequate with 2 washers and 2 dryers. This truly is a resort. Everyone was friendly and any employees or campworkers we came in contact with were very hospitable. We would stay again when in the area.

Nice, safe campground just off US 77 south of the Arkansas River, south edge of Arkansas City, KS. Park is still growing with new sites being added. Shade trees throughout the park. Every site is 50 amp. Good easy hookups including cable hook up.....I didn't have to use my cable. Hard packed gravel roads and sites...no need for blocks to level. Russ (owner) very obliging, hospitable. Russ helped us with a mechanical problem with the 5th wheel and would not accept any pay. I would have had to pay a service call if he hadn't jumped in with some tools. Really liked the "family" atmosphere.....if you camp there, you become family. We will camp at Cherokee Strip CG again when in the area.
