Abilene KOA, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice level sites. Utilities are great. Good cable and WiFi. Friendly and helpful hosts. I20 is close, but the noise was not bad. We had no trouble sleeping. We really liked that the campground was not brightly lit at night, just some soft light fixtures scattered around. We spent a week here enjoying Abilene's attractions and relaxing back at the park. Great stay. Thank you to our hosts. We camped at Abilene KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Sunsetview Farm Camping Area, Monson, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park is an easy exit off the MassPike. Be sure to follow the directions for big rigs on their web site. This 6 mile route from the turnpike is easy and paved the entire way. The campground is huge. Lots of space for all types of rigs. The sites are spacious. The campground is very quiet at night. The utilities are good. We would definitely stay here again We camped at Sunsetview Farm Camping Area in a Travel Trailer.

Redding RV Park, Redding, California

Overall Rating:

Right off the freeway in north Redding. This park sits on a hillside, but the sites are level and paved. The sites up top are quiet. All amenities included. A great place to overnight at a great value. If you have time, I recommend getting a pizza delivered from the Ultimate Pizza store in Redding. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

As the name suggests, this beautiful park is located in an orange grove. There are orange trees between each site and around the perimeter. We arrived in December when the oranges were ripe and ready for picking. They give you a bag at check in to fill with oranges! We did, and they were some of the best tasting oranges we have had! The sites are level with all amenities. I think $38/night is a little steep, but a very nice park. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Wow! $48/night. We stopped here as we were traveling north. Did not ask the price and was surprised at $48 Good Sam price. That said, the park was clean and secure. Paved level sites with all amenities. The check in staff was friendly. This park is fine, but there is just nothing about it that makes it worth the price. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground in a great location. The well maintained facilities include full hook up sites with cable and Wi-Fi. Each site has a patio pad and picnic table. The sites are level. The friendly park staff patrol the park. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. A shuttle is also available to get you downtown and back. The shuttle is well worth it to avoid the parking and navigation hassles. It drops you in the center of the honkey tonk district and gets you back. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Guntersville State Park, Guntersville, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects weekly rate bridging summer and winter seasons. We stayed one week and at check in the rate was automatically adjusted for the part of the our week that was in the winter season. This is a beautiful lake side park. The entrance is gated. You are provided the entrance code at check in. The facilities are very well maintained, clean, and roomy. There are 3 laundry facilities throughout the park. The park covers a large area and the sites are spacious. You can choose a site close to the lake front, or back by the wooded hillside. Deer wander through the sites by the hillside. Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. The utility connections can be challenging, depending on the site. The sewer connections are sometimes pretty far away from where you would expect them. You may need an extension on your hose. Other sites have the utilities conveniently located. Cable is not provided, but you can pick up some local channels with an antenna. Overall a very nice and comfortable park. We camped at Lake Guntersville State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Magnolia Farms RV Park, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The rate reflects the weekly rate. We loved this park. Quiet and peaceful. My only criticism is that they do not take credit cards. The park is immaculate and away from any road noises, yet an easy drive to the gulf coast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this park. We camped at Magnolia Farms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
