Quite unattractive park. Happy it was just for 1 night. Facilities just OK. Managers not particularly helpful or friendly. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Heyburn Riverside RV Park, Heyburn, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $21.00

What a nice surprise. This is a municipally run RV park next to the Snake river. We were there when the hosts' tenure had ended, but that was not a problem. Easy check-in. Two municipal employees maintain the park - and they do a great job. Toilets, showers, both clean and roomy. There's a very nice bike/walk path on the edge of the park, along the Snake River. Enjoyed riding my bike along there, and through some of the neighborhoods. Very nice experience. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hacienda RV Resort, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $40.00

Extremely impressive. The gold standard for parks of this size -- or any size. Very clean facilities, large bathrooms/showers. Good security. Very close to Old Mesilla, was able to bicycle there in just a few minutes. Very good biking roads around and thru Mesilla and Stahlman pecan orchard. Walking distance to St. Clair winery tasting room and bistro. Office staff cordial, but not particularly friendly. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
