Very clean, nice place. Very packed -- hardly saw any empty spaces. Bathrooms and showers were excellent. WiFi was good and strong. A pool table and ping pong also available. Even some movies available to borrow (which we did). Pool area was very nice. Didn't use the laundry, but seemed good from what I could see. Packed in pretty tight. Easy access to the path that leads to the ocean. There is also a nice playground/park next to the path.

We were able to select a site with a view of the ocean and right next to the stairs to get down to the ocean. Felt nice and private. There are washing stations to rinse off your sandy feet as well. The showers cost tokens (which we were totally fine with), were nice and very private. Generators are only allowed from 10am to 8pm which was unfortunate (we usually cook breakfast around 8am). Very friendly, nice on-site convenience store (you can even rent body and surf boards). Lots of people, hardly any vacant sites. The sites were large.

The max is 8 people, however we had 10 total, which is why the cost per month was higher than advertised (most advertise a price for 2 - 4 people). Nice and close to Disneyland. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Hot tub was nice. Wi-Fi was lacking... had to go over to the pool area in order to maintain a connection. Shower area was OK. The dividers for the 2 showers made it a little clumsy to maintain privacy. Also, the water was cold for the 1st group to shower, then started to turn warm. Surprised how packed it was for October, particularly during the week. Used the shuttle bus. You can text a number to find out real-time what time the shuttle is coming (about every 25 minutes). In hindsite, given the size of our crew, it may have been better to go through the trouble of unhooking then just paying to park at DL. There was a small grassy area where the kids could toss a football around. Our site had a nice view of the DL fireworks. The site was assigned... we did not get to pick/request the site. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Beautiful area, close to the beach! We weren't able to be as close to the beach as some sites, but still easily walkable, even with small children. As for the price, very good, though keep in mind there is an extra $5 for non-residents and $6.50 to use the web reservation system. One of the park rangers indicated they are VERY busy, so reserve far in advance. The beach was absolutely AWESOME!! The kids had such a great time getting in the water (even though it was cold). Miles of beach in both directions. As for the showers, you have to buy tokens to use them. Still, reasonable (I think $1 gets you 4 tokens, and one token is enough for a shower). Camping areas have a LOT of vegetation, very nice surroundings. We really enjoyed our 2-night stay.

A note on the nightly rate... this is because we have a large family, so needed to pay for the extras above the standard 2 adults/2 children rate. We had a great time for our one-night stay. The kids loved it, especially the pool and hot tub. The playground is pretty small, but they didn't care. They had a pool table but needed repair so played ping pong instead. Also played a little playstation. Used the dryers -- thought they worked quite well! Bathrooms/showers were great. Location right by the freeway across from the LDS temple was also perfect for us.
