Me and my husband have stayed in two other RV Parks in the San Antonio area, and this one feels the most like home! It's absolutely gorgeous, And everything is new and kept up!! We also feel secure being that it is a gated community. There's never any random people driving thru, and all of our neighbors are friendly, respectful and quite. We pay $385 a month plus electricity. Oh, and the internet is included, fast and without a glitch! There is tons of wildlife out here, which we love! And when you go down below (the resort is on 100 acres), you submerge into a natural park which competes with any State park in Texas! Big giant trees, grass meadows and the Medina River?! You'd never think you were only 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio!! The staff is exceptionally kind, caring and professional. We love the fact that this is a family owned and operated resort, and highly recommend Alamo River to anyone!!

We stayed here one week, but its too noisy because its near I-10. Everything is concrete and they don't have nice picnic tables. They had cable but only three channel were available. The last day we were there I guess they decided to sweep the driveways with this machine which was very noisy and picked up a lot of dirty done at breakfast time. Don't call prior for reservation because they will tell you they don't have spaces available. We call a month prior and every week, each time they told us didn't have any spaces. When we got there it was empty. I didn't understand why they don't make future reservation. I am just glad we had some where to park. Also be prepare because the front staff clerk are not very friendly.
