Springfield / Route 66 KOA, Springfield, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Good site park that was clean and had great staff. Our pull thru was plenty long, gravel, fairly level, patio and nice picnic table. Free wi-fi and cable, dog park and plenty of shade. Located conveniently right off I-44. Small store and food service available ( pizza and wings). Good for an overnight. We camped at Springfield / Route 66 KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Chipmunk Crossing RV Park, West Plains, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, small, privately owned park located a little "off the beaten path". Owners are an older couple who go out of their way to make your stay perfect. We had a nice gravel pull thru, plenty long, level, with a picnic table. Plenty of space between sites and through out the campground. Lots of shade, nice pool, play area, large free library and a walking path thru the woods. No cable but could pick up several channels with the antenna and had good satellite reception. Catch and release pond also on site. If you are ever in central southern Missouri this is a great park to spend the night. We camped at Chipmunk Crossing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We love this campground and stay here whenever in the area. Our pull thru site was long, level, spacious and right on the river. We love the quiet and watching the barges and riverboats going up and down the river. Plenty of walking trails. The park was full every night but they are adding 42 more sites. Great place to stay and visit all the Memphis sights...and it's very safe! Free wi-fi but no cable. Could pick up several station with antenna and satellite worked great. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground at Barnes Crossing, Tupelo, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is located in a hilly and heavily wooded area but is accessible for big rigs, you just need to be careful. Conveniently located right off the Interstate with many stores, restaurants and even a mall close by. Sites were long and level pull thru gravel, free wi-fi and cable. Plenty of room to walk the dog. Accept Good Sam discount but cash or check only. Good for an overnight or a few nights to visit Tupelo sites. We camped at Campground at Barnes Crossing in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Boy RV Park, Madison, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A large park that has two sections; an older section for full timers and a newer section for short stay. The short stay section is long pull thru gravel sites that are spacious but not quite level. Free wi-fi and cable. No pool, picnic table or patio. Small play area. Just a bare bones park that is fine for a quick overnight. We camped at Country Boy RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bass Lake RV Campground, Dillon, South Carolina

Very nice park located right off I-95. Sites are grass, extra long and spacious. Picnic table, free wi-fi, no cable, no pool, no play area. Nice small lake on property. Accepts Passport America which makes it a great bargain for a night or two. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Kamper's Lodge Campground, Wilson, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older "Mom and Pop" campground that has a lot of full timers whose RV's need some TLC. The park itself is clean and the grass sites are plenty long to stay hooked up and very level. Our site had a patio, picnic table and fire pit. Wi-fi but no cable, play area, pool, old mini golf and best of all DONKEYS !!!!! They were very friendly and loved to be petted! This is a good park for an overnight stay. We camped at Kamper's Lodge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground, Waves, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

Large park that has two sections, one on the ocean and one on the sound. Sites are mostly back-in, concrete, fairly level and not exactly built for the larger RV's. Our 42' 5th wheel and truck just barely fit in our site. Picnic table, patio, wi-fi, cable, two pools, dog park, easy beach access. Beach area is very clean. Location is in the lower part of the OBK which is less commercialized, less traffic and quieter. Great location for visiting all the sites in the OBK! We camped at Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Greensboro KOA, Greensboro, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a new KOA but a very old park. There seems to be some improvements in the works like a new dog park, nice play area and a pool. But, there are lots of full timers with lots of "stuff" sitting around. Sites are close together and a mixture of grass gravel and dirt. Site length was ok but not level, a decrepit picnic table, no cable but free wi-fi. Very nice office staff and located just off I-40. The park is way overpriced for its condition and amenities. We won't stay here again unless a lot of improvements are made. We camped at Greensboro KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Anchor Down RV Resort, Dandridge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

To me this is a "bucket list" RV Resort. The sites are spacious, level and beautiful. Free cable, wi-fi, fire pit or cimenea, picnic table, beautiful pool, amazing dog park and awesome landscaping. You can rent golf carts and pontoon boats. On a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains. This is a "must stay" for anyone with an RV!!!! We camped at Anchor Down RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Clinton / Knoxville North KOA, Clinton, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park is clean and well maintained. Our gravel pull thru site was long enough to stay hooked up with our 42' 5th wheel. Park is located conveniently off the Interstate and close to shopping and restaurants. Great free cable, wi-fi, picnic table and fire ring. Nice size dog park, pool, and play area for kids. The staff here are amazing. We ended up here due to maintenance issues with our truck. The staff helped us with the many obstacles that came up during our stay. We would definitely stay here again! We camped at Clinton / Knoxville North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Follow the River RV Resort, Florence, Indiana

Very nice park that is clean and well maintained. Back-in or pull thru sites are available. Our pull thru site was concrete, level and long enough to stay hooked up with our 43' 5th wheel. Plenty of space between sites, patio, picnic table and fire ring. Free wi-fi, large play area for kids, pool, catch and release pond and a walking/bike trail. Kentucky Speedway about 10 miles away. Archway RV Park (formerly Quality Times RV Park), Mount Vernon, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This older park is strictly for a quick overnight stay. Sites are a gravel/dirt/grass mixture with no patio. Rustic picnic table at each site, free wi-fi and no cable ( could get 4 channels with antenna). No dog park but room to walk you dog in grassy areas. No pool. Small playground. Our site was plenty long to stay hooked up with our 42' 5th wheel. Located right off I-57. Thought it was over-priced for what you get but is ok for an overnight. We camped at Archway RV Park (formerly Quality Times RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cottonwoods RV Park, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice clean park that is well kept up. Sites are gravel with a fire pit and picnic table at most sites but no patio. We had a pull thru site that is really set up for two RV's to park. But, the park wasn't full so we had the whole appx. 90' to ourselves, so plenty of room for our 42' 5th wheel and truck. However, if the park was full and another rv was also in our pull thru, it would be pretty tight. Free wi-fi but no cable. Nice general store with necessities, nice playground area and small pool. I thought the price was a little steep for no cable. We camped at Cottonwoods RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Air Capital RV Park, Wichita, Kansas

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a newer park located right off the Kansas Turnpike. Wide gravel roads are easy to maneuver. We had a pull thru site which was level concrete but was very narrow and not long enough for us to stay connected. Sites are close together and do not have a patio or picnic table. There wasn't even enough room to set up our BBQ grill. Large dog run area and a very small play ground. No pool. Free wi-fi and cable. Walking distance to several restaurants. This is a nice clean park but is way over priced. We won't be back just due to the price. We camped at Air Capital RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
