Magnolia Hill RV Park, Natchitoches, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very small no-frills RV park about 1.5 miles from I-49 and about 20 minutes from downtown Natchitoches. The park is clean, the bathrooms are new and immaculate, and the Wi-Fi access was excellent. On the down side, you have to drive up a gravel road to get there, some of the spots were not level (ours was fine), and some of the trailers seemed pretty permanent. We stayed for 3 nights. Bottom line - It's a great location if you're visiting Natchitoches. We camped at Magnolia Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shearin's RV Park, Blytheville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here overnight while traveling south. Although we arrived at 9:30PM, the owner was very accommodating. He left his cozy living room (it was a blustery cold night), led us to our spot and made sure we were OK before leaving. The park was clean and seemed to be well maintained. We camped at Shearin's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground, Linville Falls, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is not well maintained. The access roads are narrow, uneven and have sharp turns making it almost impossible to maneuver into one's site. Low hanging branches were also an issue. The electrical service is iffy at best. Our power went out several times in our 3 day stay. We didn't check out the restrooms, but the laundry facility was an open hut with washer and dryer. Bottom line - stay somewhere else. We camped at Linville Falls Trailer Lodge & Campground in a Motorhome.
