Private park-located behind the owners home. 21 sites. Gravelled lots but surrounding grass areas. Great view of the hills and the trees. Super great water pressure. ***Important- storm shelter available. Approximately 15 minutes from Chickasha Oklahoma. Pet friendly. Very nice owners.

Date of Stay:

Very approachable owners, area is graveled, clean. Grasses area to walk pets as needed.

Relatively new park (little over 1 year), very very clean, concrete sites with full hook up, great salt water pool, mail is accepted and usually delivered to your site, walking full outside parameters gives you one mile of walking, great laundry room, close to shopping (less than 10 miles), 2 great dog parks. Close to highway but road noise is minimal. Be aware that above your rate if monthly there is also an electricity deposit (all are metered sites-at this time deposit is $200.00 but we were just told it was dropping to $150.00.

The only positive thing to be said is 'it was a place to park and that is stretching it.' We travel to different states for work assignments. The other 2 local campgrounds in Chickasha OK were full so this was the only option. The entire grounds area is crushed stone, one dumpster with garbage on the ground around it. There is no office/restrooms etc. When we arrived we had to go to several campers to find out where the on site person was and when found he had an attitude 'deal with it' and then a few minutes later came to assist. He did advise us of the tornado shelter (looks like an empty tractor trailer with 2 roof fans buried in a hole/mound in the ground with stepping stones up the mound- I am guessing its a ladder to get inside-not great for bad hip and a service dog). There are free roaming dogs that belong in the park. Payment is an honor system- envelopes and locked box. Advertises on envelopes for cash/check/online (which is not available).

An older type KOA. Office staff were friendly but there didn't seem to be enough coverage, waiting on extensive phone calls, on hold for forever when calling for a reservation, seemed to take a longer than usual time to check in. I think our site was considered premium although not asked for but I am guessing so because of our length. However we noticed all other similar sites both sides of us had chimney type fireplaces which we didn't. The other sites table/chair set up looked to be in better condition. I think the icing on the cake when a new arrival to the row behind us needed to get the staffer who had just directed him and walked across our site past our back window while we were eating- I could have patted his head- then he and the staffer walked right past the window on his return trip and then staffer did the same going back for the golf cart. I may be old fashion but I believe in respecting where people are parked- that's their little piece of paradise for however long they stay- I don't even allow my dog to walk on other sites- this action I considered very rude. I think I would stay here again only if there was absolutely no other park available.

Being full time RVers, with an HDT & 38 foot RV and changing areas every month or two for work, it is important to find a site that obviously fits us, is pet friendly, and somewhat quiet. There is some road and train noise but quite tolerable. There is a fishing pond-not for swimming. The few full timers there are friendly and helpful. The owner is friendly, helpful and goes out of his way to make your stay a wonderful one. A simple clean and honest park which is way more important than a lot of extras. There is free WiFi and cable. I felt comfortable and safe staying alone during the day when my husband was working.

We stayed for 6 weeks. Management very helpful, activities were vast. Great library/pool and exercise equipment room with a great number of puzzles to past the time. Fantastic weekly breakfast (Saturdays), lunch (Wednesdays), Supper (Friday) at more than reasonable rates. Weekly entertainment. Park is pet friendly (leashed & clean up). A good number of full timers who are helpful with short stayers. Good information provided. Definitely planning on a return visit next year. Area is well supervised by local and state police and boarder patrol- at no time did we feel unsafe.

Small but organized park that accepts drive up campers late at night. Even with dirt roads it was easy access and easy to maneuver. Management was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Because it was after dark we were allowed to pick a site and the site required no extra leveling. Would definitely stay there again. We were in transit but did stay 2 nights rather than the 1 night planned.

Since this park was listed with coast to coast we endeavored to book a site. When we called the park directly on a Wednesday and were advised that we needed to call coast to coast which we did. However when we called back there was no answer and a voice mail about office closure Monday to Wednesday and to leave a message for a call back- no call back ever came. We actually found the park in the dark after numerous misplacement or rather we think we found the park. There was no actual signage So if indeed we did find it and what we saw were sites we would not fit due to low hanging wires. We ended up finding our way back out in the dark and going further down the road to a easier access grounds. Definitely not planning to return. It is my understanding that we were able to cancel the remaining 8 nights but forfeited a night as a no show. So definitely, absolutely not returning This is 7 miles down a paved road which then turns to a almost 2 lane unmarked, pothole ridden dirt road.

Well set up, very clean. Management very polite, friendly and helpful. Quiet. Level concrete pads. Pet friendly. Enjoyed the stay.

Good sized park, very woodsy. Store staff friendly and polite, management abrupt and sometimes rude. Park was not as well kept as it was during a stay same time in 2013. Litter, dead limbs hanging in trees, and not all animal owners were responsible for pickup. Several low sites that flood easily--poor drainage. Probably due to wetness, lots of insects--mosquitoes and fleas.

Date of Stay:

Easy access, reasonable driving distance to town, friendly helpful staff, clean grounds -restrooms and pool. Reasonable rates. Lots of concrete sites, and even the non-concrete sites looked very level. Pet friendly.

Rustic setting. Park was clean and quiet. Enjoyed having the flea market close by, as well as reasonable driving to town. Staff friendly and helpful, especially with directions. Enjoyed our stay.

Date of Stay:

Check in was speedy and easy. Staff was pleasant, friendly, and informative. The park was small in size but was well maintained. Laundry facilities were great with sufficient equipment, a laundry tub basin, and most importantly adequate chairs. Access to the grounds was easy as well as exiting.

The campgrounds was very easy to find, right off I-29. We were given explicit directions regarding turning at the light and going around the block since we were coming in from a direction which put us on the opposite side of the road medium. The office was closed when we arrived but the managers were on site and met us in less than 5 minutes. The managers were friendly, informative and presented good 'people' skills. We stayed 2 nights. The park was clean and well maintained. We did not notice a lot of traffic noise. The location was great and we were provided with great directions and area map. They are pet friendly and clean in this aspect. We plan to return in warmer weather.
