Ambassador RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

A very clean and well maintained RV park. They do a trash pick up or you can walk to the convenient dumpsters, which include one for recyles. There is a great dog walk area around the outside of the park (three sides) or a dog park area. The office, rec room, exercise room, game room and laundry room are clean and well kept as it the pool, sauna and playground. The sites are a great size. I liked the fact that you are guided to your site and assisted in parking. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There are interesting areas to visit within a comfortable driving distance, such as shopping, a petting zoo, museums of various themes, an outdoor shooting range. Their booklet lists surrounding areas of interest with directions. Most places that deliver will do so if you explain you are in an RV park and always remember to provide the site number.

Mountain Range RV Park (Winters - Monthly Only), Columbus, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Rather rustic, but super enjoyable. The park is well organized with the power only sites in the first row which are back in, and then the rest are pull thru. Approximately 40 sites. Very informative packages are left for people arriving after hours. Great view of the mountains. The campground and the community are in a valley setting. People seem super friendly. We will be making a return visit in a couple of weeks and look forward to it. We stayed 3 nights this trip and plan on 5 the next trip. We camped at Mountain Range RV Park (Winters - Monthly Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Fe Park, Chanute, Kansas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

I was impressed that the first two nights are free and then it is $10.00 a night for a maximum of 10 nights. We were here for warranty work on our camper, so having the two free nights was great. We stayed at the area closer to the intersection and although the road was not that far away, it was still quiet. We camped at Santa Fe Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fox's RV Park & Complex, Biloxi, Mississippi

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Don't forget to get shower codes when you come in. Was surprised to see the number of full timers that were here as well as in the attached apartment complex. From the people I met while here they were friendly. Some people would have their dogs out without leases and some didn't bother cleaning up since the dogs did their business way back on their sites. There was a lot of collecting to be noted but then it was sites that people had been there for years from the looks of it. The apartment complex was neat and tidy on the front side but cluttered on the back side. The pool which was not being used due to the time of year looked like it was in need of a good scrubbing. Maintenance work was well maintained and dealt with promptly. Mail goes to the office. It did feel safe and was far enough from the beach yet actually close to it. Would definitely go back. (from what I understand there are 2 monthly rates-metered or unmetered.) We camped at Fox's RV Park & Complex in a Fifth Wheel.

Jones RV Park, Norcross, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

CAUTION-slow down for speed bumps they are whoppers!!! We stayed here twice in January, first for 2 weeks, then a week away and back for a week. It is a simple campground in the middle of the hussel and bussel of the city. There is tons of shopping and food choices within a few minutes drive, if you can survive the ongoing traffic. It can be noisy on a cold crisp night when the traffic sounds from the nearby highway carry. It is important to know that first the office closes at 5pm on Friday and doesn't open until 8am on Monday and second if you do not have a mailbox your mail will go to the office for you to pick up and always remember to put your site number preceded by RV since there are permanent residents there and without the RV 100 your delivery could be in limbo for a while. FedEx and UPS deliver to your site if it is one package but USPS mail goes to office. Great place and large sites for short stays. We camped at Jones RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Tobesofkey Arrowhead Campground, Lizella, Georgia

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely lake front campground. Access to the campground is up and down some steep hills so have great brakes. The park itself is very clean and organized with check in station. We stayed there about 3 years ago and that is why we returned. I was a little surprised as to how the laundry facility and the showers had declined- equipment was rusty, handles replaced with wire and there were ants all over the showers. The lake and outdoor environment was great. We camped at Lake Tobesofkey Arrowhead Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cajun Palms RV Resort, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first time staying here. We stayed for 2 week since my husband had work to be done in the area. It was nice that during the week they did a daily waste pickup and on weekends twice daily. As others have noted the mosquitoes once dusk came were a terrible annoyance. I was more than annoyed when a package went missing-it was actually given to by mistake or taken by another person who then left the park for a few days. So I would not count on receiving your packages or mail. We had also explained our overall length when we called and they reassured us they had sites for our size however we were not put into such a site and because we couldn't put our HDT beside our camper (sites were super wide but not long) we had to park our truck on a different site (no charge thank goodness-just inconvenience). It was quiet during the week but busy on the weekend. Probably wont stay again. We camped at Cajun Palms RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Coachlight RV Park, Carthage, Missouri

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very easy to access and manipulate. Most roads are one way but the gentleman who took us to our sites did explain that with large rigs /coaches it was okay to go the wrong way on the circle road. It was very clean and definitely pet friendly. It was a great idea to have the RV sales/repair basically next door (you came into the park via the parking lot). We only stayed one night but it was quiet, probably because it is in a bit of a valley. Very enjoyable, would definitely stay again. We camped at Coachlight RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Catherine's Landing, Hot Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very large sites that were paved. A lot of the sites were pull thru and were able to accommodate large 5th wheels and HDTers. Clean restrooms. Site surface was a concrete pad and featured a fire ring, picnic table and patio.

It was interesting to see the 'yurts', it was a great concept. We had an enjoyable week at this campground. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

The surrounding area of Hot Springs was great for rambling and the bath houses were fantastic. About an hour away was the Crater of Diamonds (no we didn't find our riches) but it was a fun and muddy day. There are great places to eat in Hot Springs. I also enjoyed the Gun Cave: a great place to visit and very educational.

A Prairie Breeze RV Park, Menoken, North Dakota

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a well run self registration park. It is clean and organized. The campers are respectful of each other. With the exception of an occasional overnighter everyone cleans up after their dogs. There are great walking areas of grass. The owners are within call and respond to emergencies immediately. This is our second year here and usually stay from May 1st-Oct 31st. Would definitely recommend for either short stay or long stay. We camped at A Prairie Breeze RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Frog City RV Park, Duson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A small but clean park. The staff are super and definitely interested in your well being. They make chocolate cookies daily for new arrivals to the park; but will let longer termers have a 2 cookie packet now and then. We were here during their office transition and the park management worked hard to pull it together. The work hosts, who just happened to be like us -a big rig owner, were great people persons. They were interested in the individual camper and their site and the park in general. Frequently he would go above and beyond in his duties. The whole park crew was outgoing and friendly. Overall it was a great place to stay. Sometimes a little noisy because it is close to the interstate. There are shopping communities and restaurants close by or within a short driving distance.
