Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in for the $. Very nice paved sites at 45 degrees for easy back-in. Friendly staff. Great Wi-Fi. Only one mile off of I-10 with easy on and off. Nice dog park. We were only here for one night, but under different circumstances would stay longer. Rate reflects Passport America discount. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The Boardwalk RV Resort, Homestead, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, but VERY narrow streets that make backing in very difficult. Streets are all paved which is nice. Gated so that security is good. Good wifi. Extremely nice and helpful staff. We would stay here again. Price cited reflects Passport America rate. We camped at The Boardwalk RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wilderness Presidential Resort, Spotsylvania, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We have camped here many times with different results. Some sites have been great, others not level and so deep in the woods that satellite was impossible. Overall it is a nice campground and really meets our needs for visiting relatives in the area. We camped at Wilderness Presidential Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mirror Lake Campground, New Florence, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Overall this is a fairly nice campground. We were parked next to a stream that seemed very tame until the monsoon hit. I watched it continue to rise and eventually called the manager (not on site). She said that it would have to rain for 2-3 more days before the stream overran. It was only at one foot from the top so I have doubts about that. Rain stopped two hours later and all was well. Trees were a problem with satellite, and cell was questionable. Rate reflects Passport America. We camped at Mirror Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.
