Mesa Spirit RV Resort (55+ park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The week I spent at Spirit was very pleasing. As part of a NRVIA training seminar, I was up at dawn and in the class room by 7. Day ended about 5 and then there was time to see what the park had to offer. The location is handy to mega stores and many RV service outfits (if needed). A mixed park with park models and every imaginable RV combinations, all set in spots for easy access. The hot tubs were a big bonus for my old bones and a three day café at lunch time put most diners to shame with the staff, quality and variety of food and prices from the 60s! The park staff were always available to respond to questions, provided excellent meeting area with great coffee that kept us going through the day. The overall park is clean, home to many so you don't get the "trash and dash" feeling of some places we have stayed (once). With their accepting several discount memberships, I do not think there is a better deal in the area for short or long stays. We camped at Mesa Spirit RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Hart Ranch Camping Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We came to Hart to have our washer dryer repaired by a technician that was staying there. The initial impression was a wonderland compared to where we had camped before. Membership was offered and we were able to buy out one of the original members at a bargain price, so now we will pay $5.00 a day for electric unless I get a Workamper slot which would be great! The access to a metro area without the traffic and noise of so many, easy access, professional staff and reliable services make this our escape destination when the temperature hits the triple digits in Wickenburg. We camped at Hart Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
