Grand Canyon Camper Village, Tusayan, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at the campground as it is close to the Grand Canyon's south rim. I had stayed there 2-3 years ago and it was well kept and relatively full at that time. This stay was much different. The campground was un-kept, overgrown weeds, debris blowing around etc. The campground was 75% empty. There was a group of foreign men in there twenties ,approx (6) drinking and having a loud good time, down several spaces and across the street. That was ok until about 8pm when they started to take naked pictures of each other in front of all to see and then, began streaking around the campground, yelling with accents, I'm STREAKING"! I did not have any children with me, but I felt bad for the few other campers who did. I was unable to call the police as the cell phone get no reception there. I informed the exchange student in the office the following morning about the incident. He appeared surprised, but maybe because he didn't make the party..:) We camped at Grand Canyon Camper Village in a Fifth Wheel.
