Wagon Master RV Park, Sanger, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a really neat park close to DFW. Quiet, clean, and nice amenities. I highly recommend this park for people that need a winter base or even folks just passing through. There's no road noise, but the freeway is just up the street. Great access to DFW or to the Casinos in Oklahoma. The Alpacas are a plus as well. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We really liked this park. The facilities were very clean and the owners were very nice. There's a diner right next door that had great food too (always a plus). We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beaver Lake Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $41.00

This was an incredible park. I lost my awning in a wind storm, and the people that ran the place really helped me out. The park was set up so nice. The sites were well thought out and very spacious. It's on my top ten of parks we visited this summer. We camped at Beaver Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Gunsmoke RV Park, Dodge City, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We were really disappointed in this park. We had heard on the road that this was the place to stay in Dodge City. Our experience was less than pleasant. The staff didn't seem to care that we were there, not rude exactly, but not friendly at all. The sites were roomy enough, but there wasn't a lot to it. My dog got stickers in his paws in the grass. The worst part was the Kansas wind! LOL We will drive around Kansas next time. We camped at Gunsmoke RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
