We stayed here two nights to attend the state fair in Tampa. Using PPA, we were assigned either of two sites. The one site where I could access the electrical box was not working. I moved to the next site, which had the electrical box on the wrong side, so I had my choice of electricity or sewer as my hose would not reach if using the electricity. I chose electricity which is ok without the sewer. Next morning we moved over and dumped the sewer which is ok. I reported the electrical outlet problem to the maintenance guy who said it would be fixed. Returned after a day at the fair and found that the electrical hookup was still not working: in the rain. So we repeated the above and moved to the other site. It brought back old memories of tent camping. Hopefully they have it fixed by now.

We have stayed at this park over the years using PPA when passing through. It has level clean sites with Wi-Fi, cable TV and full hookups. We were fortunate to be here when the Sandhill cranes were migrating and saw them flying to and from their over night camp. Don't know if you call it roosting. The owner provides free coffee and waffles for breakfast and both are fresh. The coffee is great and the waffles you make yourself, in a pro waffle iron and take back to your camper. I have not had waffles that good in years.

On the positive side, the sites are level and clean. Even though the interstate Hwy is close by, the traffic noise did not seem to carry over into the park. On the negative side, the Wi-Fi never worked or did the cable TV. Well OK, it had one channel. OTA worked OK, with about 5 or 6 English channel's. The repeater for the Wi-Fi seems to be adequate with a good signal, but it was local only: not connected via of ISP. I called the office and was given the excuse of cloud cover or something to that effect. The charge for the night was $19.00 with PPA which I think is a little high considering no TV or Wi-Fi.

We camped here over night and found the park to be friendly and quiet. The owners live on site. There are several seasonal campers and I think they have weekly and monthly rates. We stayed here since it is a Passport park and we try to stay in Passport parks as much as possible. We would stay here again when in the area.

We camped here in a small motorhome with PPA discount. All sites seem to be very level and the overall appearance of the park is very clean and orderly. All utilities work well and the wi-fi and cable TV is a plus. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and we will return on our next trip.

I second what others have said about this park. Not worth the $$. Would not have gone out of the way to reach this PPA campground if it was free.

We have camped here for the past three years for about a month each time and have enjoyed it very much. It is a family type campground with quiet setting. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They also keep a close watch on the grounds making sure everyone is having a good time in a safe way. There is a lake with a swimming area and lots of nets around the edges for the kids to catch frogs etc. There is a playground for kids also. Stores, RV supplies/repair service, gas stations and good eateries are nearby. Just ask the owners for recommendations.

We stay here on our way north and south each year. It is a very nice campground with friendly and helpful owners. This is a family campground in a shady setting. The roads are very narrow, but it is not a problem getting to or from the sites and adds to the ambiance of the park. Of course, we return again and again.

We were just looking for an over night place to camp and found this campground listed as in Passport America. The pull thru site we were assigned was very unlevel and the utility connections were reversed, which put the connections at the opposite end of the trailer. I.E. the drive thru should have been opposite to the assigned flow. Not sure why this was this way. I would guess this is an old campground by the looks. The staff attitude from calling in over the phone thru check in/check out was not all that friendly. A better place for an over nite stop over would have been a parking lot since it would have been level and not all the hoops to jump thru checking in and out. This may be a good campground for a destination for a family with kids, but I would not recommend it for an over night stop over. Save your money.
