Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville, Quarryville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $93.00
Overall Rating:

Another trip to Quarryville for our group another weekend of rain... Unfortunately we have gotten quite use to camping in the rain at Quarryville. The good news is the area of the campground we choose to stay in drains well. No issues with site other then the cable was a bit snowy on the lower channels. As usual the bathhouse was immaculate and staff was very friendly. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville in a Motorhome.

Akron/Canton Jellystone Park Camp Resort, Uniontown, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $88.00
Overall Rating:

Was attending the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Weekend and needed a campground in the Canton area and decided to try this campground based on previous experiences with another Yogi Jellystone Campground. Staff escorted you to your site upon check in. Site was near level with a gravel base, all hook ups were in a convenient location (sewer connection was a bit high but not too extreme). Concrete pad patio was very nice to setup chairs and grill. Site 42 had great shade on the passenger side of the site with full sun on the driver side. Verizon signal was ok, and was able to get satellite signal from site. There were plenty of activities and things to do for the kids. Only real gripe is with the pool, and that was the lifeguards went on break every 2 hours for 15 minutes at time (pool was only open from 11a-7p as it was) and everyone was made to get out. We have camped at numerous campgrounds and never encountered this (all other campgrounds have had sufficient staff to handle breaks for staff without shutting down the pool). Not very likely I will camp in this area again but, if I did, I would camp at this campground again. We camped at Akron/Canton Jellystone Park Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Rustic Table food truck was amazing, I would highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat if they show up at the campground. For those looking to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame this was a very easy 15-20 ride from the campground.

Massey's Landing, Millsboro, Delaware

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $115.00
Overall Rating:

Third year in a row camping at Massey's with our camping group. Truly ig is a camping resort and not just a campground. Sites are gravel with a mix of grass and sand/dirt. Site had no shade which made it easy to get satellite signal, however park cable is sufficient. Was a bit disappointed to find out that they no longer had bands at the pool, which we really enjoyed the first 2 times we camped there. Pool was nice the first half of our trip however the pumps were not working properly the later half and the pool got very cloudy. We camped at Massey's Landing in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville, Quarryville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at Yogi Quarryville numerous times since we have been camping and as usual this year we returned for our annual Mother's Day trip this year (15 families between campsites & cabins). And as usual the weather didn't co-operate, that being said we still had a great time at the cg. Every year we keep coming back you can see that they are investing in the property, this year they replaced the pavilion with a brand new activities building. But to be honest this is the first year we have had issues with staff, check in was not easy out front at the main entrance like usual, instead we were directed to the ranger station and then had to head inside while numerous staff members hung out on golf carts on their cellphones, once we registered then we had to wait for one of those workers to escort us to our site. We also had an issue when our group tried to re-book the site for next year and 3 different families went over the weekend to do that and got told 3 different answers as to when they could re-book (finally got settled and were able to re-book). Office staff would not allow us to use Yogi Rewards for this stay or a future stay as we had applied a discount to our reservation, again this never was an issue previously. For the second year in a row we lost water (to be fair it was the result of a lightning strike this year) but the staff worked very quickly to get it working temporarily in the storm. The next morning though a plumber showed up to fix it but CG staff never notified any of our group that they would be shutting the water off in the morning, leaving some of our group high and dry in the shower and we had no water to flush our tanks or clean up stuff from the rain before we packed up. Had we got notified we would have put some water in our fresh water tanks. When one of the group complained to the office they got a 20%, others from group were told there was nothing that could be done and that water would be turned on shortly. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville in a Motorhome.

Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Not first time in Gettysburg, but first time for us staying at the Gettysburg Campground. Check in was easy with plenty of room to unhook our toad. During our stay the temps were diving down past freezing, the cg had signs up and made sure to remind us that they would be shutting off the water a night (They went out of their way to make sure everyone knew this would occur and were great about it) Our site was along the stream that borders the property and was very nice and spacious. The cg is located right on the outskirts of the driving tour and was able to use it as a home base to tour the Gettysburg area. We would easily be able to recommend this cg if you are in the Gettysburg area. We camped at Gettysburg Campground in a Motorhome.

Old Mill Stream Campground, Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

We camp quite a bit in the Lancaster PA area but this was the first time we have stayed at Old Mill Stream. We had numerous activities planned for the weekend in Lancaster and used the campground as a home base. Unfortunately it was super cold the weekend we stayed so we couldn't sit outside and enjoy a campfire at night. Campground is super convenient to all the Lancaster area activities. Due to the cold the campground was shutting off the water at night. No issue with Verizon cell service. Cable was sufficient, site 123 had tree cover that blocked satellite signal. The main entrance/exit of the campground goes through the Dutch Wonderland parking lot, while the amusement park was closed while we were there I could see getting in and out an issue based on the daily park attendance. We camped at Old Mill Stream Campground in a Motorhome.

Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

Another year another stay at Hershey for Labor Day. As usual the campground is very nice and accommodating. Stayed in Site 1 again, this site has a great view of the campground; however the steep slope is a constant issue when trying to enjoy the outdoors at the site. Lucky for we stay with a large group and use their sites as the fire pit area. We attended a concert at Hershey Park Stadium during our stay and have to say that it was the most convenient concert venue we have ever attended. Shuttle from the campground dropped you right off at the entrance to Hershey Park Stadium, at the end of the event they had ample buses ready and took us back to the campground very quickly while others were tied up in traffic. I would highly recommend staying at Hershey Campground for a concert! We camped at Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground) in a Motorhome.

Massey's Landing, Millsboro, Delaware

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $87.00
Overall Rating:

Last year we camped at The Resort at Masseys Landing just a few weeks after they opened; and we gave an honest review but said this place had some serious potential. Well I can now say they are living up to that potential! The campground sites have improved, the pool bar, store, package goods, Jackspot cafe did not disappoint. Staff was knowledgeable and always eager to assist, which is a huge improvement since the last time we camped there. We camped with a large group and I cannot recommend Marketing Manager more, she was absolutely amazing from pre-arrival planning to check in and all throughout our stay! She made us feel like we were part of the Massey Family and highly recommend contacting her if you plan on bringing a group to Massey's. We stayed in Site 71 - level gravel site with easy hookups (water is still a bit low for my liking) the extra parking pad for a toad, tow vehicle or golf cart is very nice to have. Bathhouse near our site was very nice and clean. Verizon signal was marginal to good. Wifi had some issues but for the most part worked. We plan on making Massey's a yearly stop for us and would recommend the same to you! We camped at Massey's Landing in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville, Quarryville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Once again we were not disappointed in staying at Yogi Quarryville. We have a large group that camp at Quarryville for Mother's Day for many years now, and each year we come back they have improved the campground somehow; it is nice to see that they care about the conditions of the park and keep it immaculate. Verizon signal was good, no satellite available in site due to tree cover. 2 pools were open (1 heated), water park was still closed. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Quarryville in a Motorhome.

Castaways RV Resort & Campground , Berlin, Maryland

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Quick weekend trip at Castaways; not our best trip there but we still had a nice time. Check in was easy as usual, and staff was friendly. Unfortunately it was a downpour the whole day of our arrival, however are site had good drainage and was not overly muddy. Site is level and concrete pad was nice. Verizon signal was spotty. Cable connector on the pedestal was broken, however I utilized my satellite. It was not beach weather however even if it was the campground leased out the beach and tiki bar for a wedding for Saturday & Sunday; there was no mention of this at booking or via email. Had it been nice weather this would have been a bigger issue. We camped at Castaways RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Pirateland Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

First time heading down to Myrtle Beach and Pirateland was a great campground to call home base while there for a week during spring break. Campground has amazing access to the beach, just a few feet from our site. Pool, lazy river, and kids splash areas were great. Food trucks were on site at the campground everyday and were very good. Verizon Wireless signal was marginal at best, and wifi was very spotty. Cable connection was poor on the lower channels but got better the higher the channel. Able to get satellite signal in the site. The wooden shelter on the site was very worn and LOW, caution if you are tall you will be ducking the whole time you are around them, and watch as they really hurt when you run into them. Cannot wait till we can go back, I would highly recommend Pirateland! We camped at Pirateland Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Elk Neck State Park, North East, Maryland

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Second time staying at Elk Neck State Park, we enjoy heading down to Turkey Point Lighthouse and into Northeast MD. The day we arrived it was pouring rain and our site was an absolute mud pit, the dirt/fine gravel utilized in the site did not allow draining. Therefore we were unable to sit outside during our stay. Campground does not offer cable, was able to get satellite reception in the site. There is absolutely horrendous service for Verizon Wireless, so if you have Verizon prepare for a total break from tech. We camped at Elk Neck State Park in a Motorhome.

Gettysburg / Battlefield KOA, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Gettysburg KOA is located about 10-15 minutes away from Gettysburg attractions. Entry road is very small, upon arrival there was a backup of other rv's and vehicles trying to check in on a Friday afternoon; had to unhook TOAD on roadway as there was not enough room to disconnect inside campground with others arriving to check in. The site were given when we booked was changed to another site upon our arrival. Site 6 was very narrow, but level gravel base. Verizon signal was not good at all at the campground, trees blocked satellite signal, hook ups were all very close. If you have a tall rig stay away from site 6 as the electric running over head was low on this site. Roads in the campground were very narrow. Many of things for kids to do in the park including bounce pillow, large connect four and jenga, and were able to rent pedal cars. We camped at Gettysburg / Battlefield KOA in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Tall Pines, Elmer, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

First time staying at this Yogi Bear Campground. Highly recommend site #54 as it is huge! Site was level, hooks up were easy to reach with basic lengths and the gravel was nice as most other sites were dirt. Verizon signal was ok, didn't use park wifi, site had lots of foliage cover so unable to use satellite park cable had limited options. As others have stated the campground road are dirt and with the dry weather this meant all of dust and dirt any time traffic went by. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Tall Pines in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Our third stay at Hershey Park Campground, first time not staying in Carousel Circle and loved it even though the train noise was more noticeable this trip. Check in was quick and easy as you didn't even have to enter the building as they had someone by the road as you entered. Site 1 was a little tight side to side due to slope of hill but we made it work. Shuttles to Hershey Park/Chocolate World were great as usual. Re-booked for same weekend again before we left. We camped at Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground) in a Motorhome.
