Once again we were not disappointed in staying at Yogi Quarryville. We have a large group that camp at Quarryville for Mother's Day for many years now, and each year we come back they have improved the campground somehow; it is nice to see that they care about the conditions of the park and keep it immaculate. Verizon signal was good, no satellite available in site due to tree cover. 2 pools were open (1 heated), water park was still closed.

Quick weekend trip at Castaways; not our best trip there but we still had a nice time. Check in was easy as usual, and staff was friendly. Unfortunately it was a downpour the whole day of our arrival, however are site had good drainage and was not overly muddy. Site is level and concrete pad was nice. Verizon signal was spotty. Cable connector on the pedestal was broken, however I utilized my satellite. It was not beach weather however even if it was the campground leased out the beach and tiki bar for a wedding for Saturday & Sunday; there was no mention of this at booking or via email. Had it been nice weather this would have been a bigger issue.

First time heading down to Myrtle Beach and Pirateland was a great campground to call home base while there for a week during spring break. Campground has amazing access to the beach, just a few feet from our site. Pool, lazy river, and kids splash areas were great. Food trucks were on site at the campground everyday and were very good. Verizon Wireless signal was marginal at best, and wifi was very spotty. Cable connection was poor on the lower channels but got better the higher the channel. Able to get satellite signal in the site. The wooden shelter on the site was very worn and LOW, caution if you are tall you will be ducking the whole time you are around them, and watch as they really hurt when you run into them. Cannot wait till we can go back, I would highly recommend Pirateland!

Second time staying at Elk Neck State Park, we enjoy heading down to Turkey Point Lighthouse and into Northeast MD. The day we arrived it was pouring rain and our site was an absolute mud pit, the dirt/fine gravel utilized in the site did not allow draining. Therefore we were unable to sit outside during our stay. Campground does not offer cable, was able to get satellite reception in the site. There is absolutely horrendous service for Verizon Wireless, so if you have Verizon prepare for a total break from tech.

Gettysburg KOA is located about 10-15 minutes away from Gettysburg attractions. Entry road is very small, upon arrival there was a backup of other rv's and vehicles trying to check in on a Friday afternoon; had to unhook TOAD on roadway as there was not enough room to disconnect inside campground with others arriving to check in. The site were given when we booked was changed to another site upon our arrival. Site 6 was very narrow, but level gravel base. Verizon signal was not good at all at the campground, trees blocked satellite signal, hook ups were all very close. If you have a tall rig stay away from site 6 as the electric running over head was low on this site. Roads in the campground were very narrow. Many of things for kids to do in the park including bounce pillow, large connect four and jenga, and were able to rent pedal cars.

First time staying at this Yogi Bear Campground. Highly recommend site #54 as it is huge! Site was level, hooks up were easy to reach with basic lengths and the gravel was nice as most other sites were dirt. Verizon signal was ok, didn't use park wifi, site had lots of foliage cover so unable to use satellite park cable had limited options. As others have stated the campground road are dirt and with the dry weather this meant all of dust and dirt any time traffic went by.

Our third stay at Hershey Park Campground, first time not staying in Carousel Circle and loved it even though the train noise was more noticeable this trip. Check in was quick and easy as you didn't even have to enter the building as they had someone by the road as you entered. Site 1 was a little tight side to side due to slope of hill but we made it work. Shuttles to Hershey Park/Chocolate World were great as usual. Re-booked for same weekend again before we left.

This was our first time staying at Hospitality Creek and were not very impressed! If I was charged $45-50 a night I would have no complaints; however when they charge $100 a night and have a 3 night minimum I expect a very nice campground. That is not the case at all. Unfortunately the campground is littered with numerous run down seasonal sites. Water park and pool were ok, nothing spectacular. Property has quite the laundry list of rules, however I saw no one enforcing them. Site was very un-level. If we were to come back it would only be to stay in one of the lakefront sites.

First time staying at Normandy Farms; stayed their with a few other camping friends. Campground is immaculately maintained; very nicely landscaped and has many things to offer. Enough pools throughout the campground, so even on the hottest day they were never overcrowded. Verizon cell signal was marginal at best; campground cable had quite a large channel offering and was clear signal. Site D1 was a very nice pull thru site that had tons of room lengthwise (able to park our Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, Motorhome and a Chevy Suburban on the site) and very level. Campground was very close to Patriot Place; and not too far from Boston for a few day trips to site see. Tons of kids activities throughout our stay. Camp store was a bit out of the way from the main camping area, but was manageable.

Second time staying at Big Timber. Check in takes quite a bit of time by front desk staff, and road can back from all units waiting to get in. Site 187 was mix of grass and sand; and very small width wise but was deep however the back end of the site dropped off so couldn't back RV to far back. Pool was crowded most of the days due to the heat; however it was never over crowded and always were able to find a place to relax in it. Kids enjoyed the lake and activities they provided. Location of campground is pretty much center of Cape May County so if you plan to leave the campground to explore there are plenty of options within a short car ride.

Bethpage Camp Resort

Urbanna, Virginia

Date of Stay:

First time staying at Bethpage, heard lots about the camp ground prior to going and wanted to check it out ourselves. Site was VERY spacious, and level. Site was grass with some dirt, wish there was a bit more gravel on sites. Strong odor of septic the first night however mgmt stayed on top of the issue and pumped out the system multiple times throughout our stay. Pool and waterpark was very busy due to the heat, temperature of the water was also very hot, and at times not very refreshing. Our site (Sycamore 3) was on the main road of the campground and was a great view for the nightly golf cart cruising. Ice cream store and mini golf was extremely far from main campsites. Our group enjoyed a sunset cruise on the Bethpager.

Massey's is a true up and coming RV resort. That being said I will address the negatives first and then the positives: Negatives: -Site VERY un-level that slopes back. -Water connection extremely low - Playground/dog park is behind site with no real access so others are constantly cutting through site. -Upon arrival there was no picnic table at site, requested multiple times didn't get a table delivered till second day. -Staff needs LOTS of training! You will get different answers to same questions and none of them are correct until you speak to a manager. -Could not re-book for next year as they are not sure when or how they will do re-bookings?!?! -Wifi was a constant issue to connect and cell service (Verizon) was spotty at best. -Very limited t-shirt selection in store (No Big sizes either) once again not sure why since this is free advertising for the campground. Positives: -AMAZING Pool, swim up bar! -Kids activities were good (could add more through out weekend days). -Sites are good size and include a parking spot for a tow vehicle or toad -Beach and dog beach are nice -Cafe has excellent food (Crab dip is amazing)

Celebrated Memorial Day Weekend at Sea Pirate with a group of other friends. Campground was very clean, the maintenance staff were noticeably always on patrol for litter and removal of trash. Store was large, and had a variety of items, didn't have a large selection of shirts especially larger sizes (never understood this since it is free advertising for their campgrounds). The grill/ice cream parlor was very pricey, and the young staff members were easily overwhelmed and could learn some customer service tips! The 500 section seemed to be the nicest part of the campground. The pool was very crowded, with many people holding seats with towels. Dog park was very nice, and they even provided toys for the dogs.

Stayed once again for Mother's Day Weekend with a large group of friends, this campground once again does not disappoint! We have been coming multiple times over the years and every spring you can see the management does amazing work in the off season to update and improve the campground! Sites are very spacious, and extremely well maintained. I highly recommend this campground, and remains one of our favorites! Verizon cell signal is good, site 312 is not good for satellite viewing (able to get roughly 45 channels with campground cable)

Our first trip to Oak Creek, and staying on the N side of the Lancaster area. Upon arrival we were meet by a greeter at the entrance of the park and was qucikly escorted to our site and aided in backing in to the site. Site was located on the creek and was very nice with a great view. Enjoyed the proximity to the playground and the fishing pond to keep an eye on our children. Paved site was a bit off level but manageable. Tree covered spot blocked our satellite however the cable had many channels. Verizon cell service was marginal at best. Campground store had a lot of good stuff and also had a great selection of campground t-shirts including larger sizes. I would recommend Oak Creek.
