Endless Summer RV Park, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

This is a park that it is in transition. There is a lot updating to sites going on, but there are some long term, really trashy units that drag down the overall appearance. The location is good for getting to everything in Naples. When they get done with their upgrades, and assuming they get the trash cleaned up this will be a nice little park. No wifi, and no cable, makes the price a little steep, but considering the area, it was cheaper than many. We camped at Endless Summer RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Anchors Aweigh RV Resort, Foley, Alabama

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park that I rated low because of their really BAD wifi. Most of the time it didn't work and when it did it was so slow that I gave up in frustration. We camped at Anchors Aweigh RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wolf River Resort, Pass Christian, Mississippi

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived just after a downpour and had 3 more days of rain so everything was pretty wet. Site was gravel and dry, but step off the gravel and there was standing water everywhere. Other then that it was quiet and decent. We camped at Wolf River Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pride RV Resort, Waynesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great park right on Jonathan Creek. The roads and sites were gravel but well maintained. Our site was level. The space between sites was good, the length was a little short for our rig.The WIFI signal was STRONG (possibly because there weren't many here with us). The grounds and buildings were very well maintained. The only reason I didn't rate them higher on cleanliness was the fact that there were a few (long term campers) there that were a little on the trashy side. One in particular had junk all around it. Just not a good idea to let this kind of thing happen on an otherwise GOOD park. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pride RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Decent fishing on Jonathan Creek which is also part of the Mountain Heritage streams. You can get a 3 day out of state trout license for $5 plus a $2 issue fee online. Cherokee, NC is about 30 mins away. Maggie Valley just next door. If you stay here, check out downtown Waynesville. We discovered it by accident. Lots of great little shops, antique stores, arts and crafts, and the 3 story Mast General Store.

River Plantation RV Park, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park close in. Rated them low because their WiFi was a joke. Stayed out most of the time. Gravel pads mostly level. Sewer connection was sticking up and the water connection was at the back of the site. We camped at River Plantation RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Park Campground, Lake Park, Georgia

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Saw their billboard and decided to take a chance. Glad we did!!! Only reason I rated them lower was because of the WIFI and no sewer hookup on our site. Other then that great stopover point. Sites are a little short for big rigs. We camped at Lake Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Smoky Bear Campground, Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is probably one of the best parks in the area. So clean and neat. The only thing that kept me from giving them a perfect 10 was the limited cable and the sites were a little tight. Maybe a 9.75? We camped at Smoky Bear Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Chewacla State Park, Auburn, Alabama

This is a great park, not that big, but still has a lot to offer. I would rate it higher except for the lack of cable or WiFi. Will stay here again when we are through here. We camped at Chewacla State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Chehaw Park Campground, Albany, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Wow, what a great campground tucked out in the country. We were looking at a place to overnight, and found this place. Wi-Fi works great. Sites are nice and level. The only reason, I didn't rate it a perfect 10 was because there is no cable, and the access roads are a little tight with a big rig. All things considered, would highly recommend this place as a spot to spend a few days. We camped at Chehaw Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Happy Traveler RV Park, Thonotosassa, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This could be a nice park, but there are a lot of units that have been here for awhile and have a lot of accumulated "stuff" around them, giving it a run down look. Sites are not paved and are extremely tight. No cable. Lots and lots of sand to contend with. We found out the hard way some of the long term residents don't adhere to the leash law on pets. We camped at Happy Traveler RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley, Clermont, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Really nice park. Brick pavers for pads. Good surface roads. Well kept. We've stayed there twice. Only negative is the Wi-Fi is hit or miss and the cable is limited. Would still recommend as it is close to everything, but away from the traffic. We camped at Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

Campers Inn Inc., Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This could be a nice park if they ever decide who they want to cater to. There were a lot of old run down units in the park that had been there awhile, some of which didn't look as if they were being used. Along the back side were mobile homes that had aged as well. Park roads and pads need some work. The Staff was friendly and great. Large neon signs across the road flashed all night. We camped at Campers Inn Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Lack of paved roads and pads. Sites are very narrow. Good wifi access but no cable. Stayed at a lot nicer parks for less money. We camped at Compass RV Park (formerly Indian Forest Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.
