You pull up to this campground and it looks truly like a RESORT. Palm trees, electronic gate, beautiful "club house" etc. They have a restaurant/bar on site that has great food and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is awesome if you're just tired of cooking for one morning or night. They had lots of washers and dryers and the laundry room was nice and clean. Everyone of the staff was friendly. The sites were large and the people were nice. The propane was $3/gallon - cheapest we've found at a campground yet, which was surprising for a "resort". My only complaint is there are only 2 designated "dog runs" and its a long patch of grass that stretches behind all the 5th wheels at the front of the park (probably 20 per dog run). It felt weird that I basically had to walk through someone's pad to get back to the dog run, and then walk my dog that close to everyone's "house". I felt like i was invading privacy but it was the only designated place. I originally posted that there were no enclosed dog runs, because the map, my walking around for 20 minutes, and my asking of 3 different staff members walking around, told me there were none. However, I have been corrected that there are some, and I'm so excited to try to find them next time we stay. If you care about this sort of thing, don't rely on the map - ask the lady who checks you in. She will be very nice and probably know EXACTLY where they are. I was not that on top of things at the time, ha ha! But since they apparently have one, that is bonus points in my book! Will stay here again on our way back for sure!

The staff was incredibly friendly! One of the owners told us the office is open until 8:00 pm, but we pulled in late at 9:30 and her husband was waiting to give us our map and welcome us. He said we could take care of paying in the morning. The sites were HUGE, biggest we've ever encountered. Our Subaru could stay hooked up to our 40' motor home and still have room before the road met our site. Site was gravel and level, no grass for the pups but extremely nice to not have to worry about tight turns and navigation. Enclosed dog runs are very important to us, because our 2 pups are nervous doing business on their leashes (unfortunately) so having 2 large runs divided by a fence was wonderful, so they could also stay separated from bigger dogs that scare them. The view is beautiful with mountains/hills surrounding. Most tenants came out around 8:00 am to walk their dogs so it was a fun environment everyone talking and drinking coffee letting their dogs play. We had so much fun and wished we could stay longer. OH, and because we were a late arrival and didn't use showers/bathroom, they only charged us $20 vs. $28 - never heard that before - super sweet and congenial! Would stay here over and over; this would also be a great site for anyone looking to stay a lot longer. It's 2 hours from the Grand Canyon, and Kingman is a precious little city - all the necessities close by and lots to see and do!
