Eagle's Landing RV Park, Cripple Creek, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This "RV Park" is basically a field behind town with hookups. Campsites are a mix of weeds, gravel and bits of garbage. It appears to be a haven for full-timers in decaying old trailers. Very run down (assuming it was in better shape at some point). I would never have chosen this place except that it was late and I was tired. I'm leaving here as soon as I finish writing this. I certainly won't be coming back. We camped at Eagle's Landing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground, Ronan, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This little RV park is a hidden gem. It was purchased by a new owner couple in Aug 2015 and they keep it meticulous without being fussy. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the surroundings are spectacular with the Mission Mountain Range to the south. The pads are all pull-thru and grass, which is re-mowed and watered each time someone leaves. Wifi is great if you're close to the office and altho you do hear some traffic from Hwy 93, it's a small price to pay to be in such a wonderful park with access to a lot of great day trip destinations, including Polson (Flathead Lake), West Glacier, Kalispell, Missoula, the Bison Range, and more. I happened across this campground by chance and paid for one night. That was 2.5 weeks ago. I will definitely return. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Harmony Lakeside RV Park, Silver Creek, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Overnighted at this campground. The staff was extremely pleasant and found me a campsite even though I had no reservations. The campsite was shaded and separated from surrounding campers by trees and bushes, however, rigs are a little too close for my preferences. Campsites, park models, and permanent structures are scattered throughout. LOTS of kids all over, riding their bikes and running through campsites. Also quite noisy. For me, it was fine for one night, but I was eager to leave in the morning. We camped at Harmony Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Smokiam Campground, Soap Lake, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park situated on the edge of Soup Lake. Arrived on Sunday and the place was loaded with families and noisy power boats on the lake. I asked to be placed in the back row, away from the lake and pool, so it was quieter. It's a beautiful surrounding and it's obvious they're working on quite a few improvements. However, this all comes with a doubling of the campsite fees. We camped at Smokiam Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort, Lajitas, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I was the host of a recent rally at Maverick RV and I can't say enough about the level of service our group of 40 Casitas received during our week-long stay. The staff was attentive, informative, helpful and welcoming. As was mentioned by another reviewer, the Wi-Fi was spotty, sometimes running very, very slowly, but, they're aware of the problem and are working to fix it. I had no problems using my Verizon cell phone. This was our first rally at Maverick RV. Everyone had such a great time that we're planning to do it again in 2015. The campsite fee reflects our group rate. We camped at Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Hitchin' Post RV Park, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Although this campground is basically a large gravel parking lot and the campsites are rather closer together, the folks in the office are friendly and helpful and the facilities are tidy and clean. For those reasons, this was my second visit to this park for an over night. My site was level and the utilities were all in working order. A train passes occasionally in the distance, but I don't find it disturbing. I would definitely return again. We camped at Hitchin' Post RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
