Excellent! This has become our favorite place to stay, due to all it offers. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The restrooms are clean and pleasant. Our favorite part is that we can pull our pontoon boat up to our campsite and leave it in the water all weekend while we camp. They have a nice shop for supplies and fishing gear, including gas and oil for the boat or the car. Also, it is so quiet and relaxing, even on the busy weekends. The sites are large enough that you don't hear everything or everyone around you.

Extremely helpful and pleasant owners. Nice quaint quiet spot. Smaller family oriented campground. Sounds like play equipment and new restrooms will be coming for next season possibly? Brand new pavilion for small parties/etc. was just built.

Overall a very nice park. We would return again. Bathroom and shower were adequate but not very clean during the busy weekend that we stayed. We stayed at Cox Hollow site #96&97. Site #96 was nice and level with gravel for a base. Site #97 was terraced with a large area to back into and steps going down to another level for a gazebo tent/etc, than another lower area with the fire pit. This was a beautiful site although it was difficult to maneuver with small children (we had two 2 year olds). The sites were surrounded by trees and vegetation and were very private. I am rating it an 8 due to the bathrooms/showers and a very slight issue with some noise.

We absolutely loved this park. The campsites are so surrounded by trees and vegetation that you can barely tell that you are camping next to someone. You could barely tell that the campsites next to you had a campfire. The restrooms were extremely clean even in the busy part of the weekend. We did the junior ranger program with our 5 year old (this is a Wisconsin State Park thing). He is still talking about it months later! We geocached all over the park. We swam in the nice pool and went on a couple of guided hikes. Than there was a lefsa making demonstration in the amphitheater (I'm Norwegian!) yea!! Overall one of our best camping experiences! The park is gorgeous with its 2 lookout towers and many trails. Our only trouble was with the friendly racoons that wanted to steal our food! Site number 6 was absolutely perfect with young kids because the playground was right there next to you!

Great place to pull the boat up and camp and that go out fishing or pleasure boating for the day. 40 of the sites are located directly on the Mississippi river with relatively easy access to the main channel. Can get a small to medium sized boat in and out of this area. The camping is nice with mostly shaded sites. The one main downfall of the campground is the twin railroad tracks that run right next to the campground area, but if you want to be on the Mississippi than this just goes with the territory. The sites are very large and can easily accommodate 2 families on one site. Overall would recommend this campground.
