Victoria Palms Resort, Donna, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Victoria Palms Resort for two nights in May. The park was easy to maneuver to our space and we were escorted to it by the staff and were offered assistance if needed. Concrete Pad

and patio. All the staff from the registration desk, to the guard at the gated entrance were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return here and recommend it. We camped at Victoria Palms Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The person at the registration desk recommended a nearby restaurant for a good breakfast. It was a great restaurant with a very good breakfast with reasonable prices so we went there both mornings.

North Texas Jellystone (formerly Rustic Creek Ranch), Burleson, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for 3 nights in a travel trailer and one rented cabin. We had 5 grandchildren with us and had a great time. Overall, this park provided everything listed on the web site with a few exceptions. The staff was great and the facilities were clean and updated. There is some construction going on with the water park and it is located right on IH-35. We knew all of this ahead of time and neither of these items were an issue. We have a 35' towed RV and the roads are a little narrow in the park. If people park their vehicles partially in the road, it is difficult to maneuver safely. I had to back out of our pull through space to exit the park due to this but that was the only issue we had with our 3 night stay. We will come back to this park and I recommend it as a great location for kids to have a great time which lets us have a good time. We camped at North Texas Jellystone (formerly Rustic Creek Ranch) in a Travel Trailer.

Bayou Shores RV Resort, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We were supposed to stay here 4 nights but checked out after one night. The sewer connection was open and about 18" above our sewer outlet so no gravity flow to drain tanks. There was an open sewer connection for the next site right outside our entry door with spilled sewage around it. The electrical box for our hookup had the ground wire dangling from the box and not connected and there were wires uncapped coming out of a conduit right next to the water connection. There was also dog feces right near our walk path to get to our door. The manager was totally unresponsive when we told him about the issues and of course refused to issue a refund. We had read some other reviews about the park but thought it couldn't be as bad as reported but found it to be worse. Don't stay at this park. We camped at Bayou Shores RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
