Nice park which advertises "where no one camps in front of you or behind you", but your neighbors are really close. They don't mention in their advertisements or on the telephone when making reservations, that you pay extra for the electric hookup because they are metered sites. You pay $0.18 per kwh, which made our four day stay cost an additional $14.00. There were many black snakes in the park, in fact we had to kill one (about four foot long) which was going into my sons tent. You must buy firewood from the park, because you could not bring your own in. Fishing is catch and release, and were very small. We stayed here because it was close to the Rogers flea market. I don't know why they call it a resort, because there were no "planned" activities. Bugs were a big problem in the evening. Don't know if we would stay here again.

Very friendly staff, and the campground has updated landscaping. They sell firewood, and will deliver to your site. They have a nice miniature golf course with 18 holes. The staff works daily on upkeep in the park and it shows. Will camp here again. The sites have concrete pads for patios and nice gravel area to park on.

The employees were very helpful and friendly, but we were told one unit and one tent per site. We observed several tents sharing one site, and parking was at a premium. The sites are not very big, and barely accommodate one unit let alone several. We can't imagine how hectic it would be on a holiday weekend if they don't control the use of sites. Full hookups were nice, however the sewer pipes need to be "flush" with the ground. This caused some issues when dumping tanks.

We have camped here several times. A real nice family park. They have free minature golf, and a small animal farm for children to view. Their apple dumplings are the best I have had. They always have weekend entertainment that is free with your paid camping. I would give them a higher rating, if it weren't for the high prices, but I guess it keeps out the "riff-raft". Will be back again.

Another great state park. Restrooms and showers were redone about 2 years ago, and are state of the art. Private changing rooms and showers with doors that lock. Grounds were kept up to pristine condition, and everyone was friendly. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful place to sit and relax. Employees very friendly and helpful. Trash is picked up at your site hourly. I would give them an excellent rating if they had a better dump station. Just one station, and it can be a long wait at check out time. We will definitely go back. Great people.

Park is in need of some updating. Had reservations for a week. Upon arrival they had rain previously, and moved people onto our reserved site. We had to stay on another site, and then had to move, to our original reserved site a day later. Owner complained I did not pay enough money for the week, but I explained I paid when I made the reservations, and if he wanted more money, I would leave and he would have to give me a refund. He said forget it. This park is in really sad shape for a park that is close to Kings Island (since Kings Island shut down their campgrounds). He would get a lot of their business if he would just make some improvements. I will never stay here again as long as it is under the current ownership.
