Valley Sunset RV Ranch, Delta, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent, reasonably priced place to stay. We're full timers and these are the cleanest bath & shower facilities I've seen in nine years of full timing. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is it's a little dusty and there is only a few spots in the park where you can receive satellite. They do have cable and the Wi-Fi was excellent. We camped at Valley Sunset RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

South Bay RV Campground, South Bay, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is our 4th or 5th year staying in this park. We usually stay here at least three months. The park's sites are about half 30 Amp and half 50 Amp so be sure to specify which you want. All the sites are large and are blacktopped. There are several places for campfires but not on every site. Picnic tables and charcoal grills on all sites. Clean restrooms and laundry areas. The monthly rate goes down $50 a month for four months straight then goes back to the starting rate. Nice social hall with screen porch and book exchange area. Security gate with entry code for each guest. Ice and firewood available for purchase. Only downside is the closest grocery store is about five miles away in Belle Glade. Closest Walmart is in Clewiston 15 miles away. This location is 50 miles from West Palm Beach (the ocean) and 78 miles from Fort Myers. We camped at South Bay RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Blue Parrot RV Resort, Lady Lake, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is mostly a retirement park with about 400 permanent sites. There are less than 30 sites set aside for overnight stays, some shaded. The staff is friendly, and we would stay there again as it's very close to who we visit. It's an old park. They will give you the Good Sam discount if you ask for it, but they're not a member. The bathrooms are old and not in good shape. Out of five showers, only two worked. Out of five sinks, two had no water. The water pressure was poor in the bathrooms and at our RV site. The sites were quite level and the power posts in good shape with consistent 50 amp service for the four days we stayed there. Free coffee and donuts in the morning. We camped at Blue Parrot RV Resort in a Motorhome.
