Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground - Full Hookups (Parks Canada), Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Agree with previous posts. I was here a week and all 3 parks were full every night so make your reservations months in advance for July and August. Very quiet after 9:00 - Probably because no firepits in full hookup park so no reason to sit outside. They do have an overflow area along the perimeter road where you park behind each other. Dry camping but access to rest rooms. $27. Great place to stay when exploring Banff and Lake Louise, which is 45 min away. We camped at Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground - Full Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View Camping, Calgary, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Good place to stay for Calgary Stampede. They run a bus twice a day each way to Stampede Park for $12 round trip - a good deal. Wi-Fi terrible when park is full. No water pressure in am so fill your water tanks if you want to take a shower. Try and get a pullthrough site. They have the most room. I would stay here again. We camped at Mountain View Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Ellis Lakeside Campground, Ellis, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Agree with other reviews. Each site has its own picnic table, fire ring, and barbeque. Every 2 sites share electric and water hookups so when you pull in your site towards lake pick a site with hookups to your left and everything will be on correct side. Otherwise you face the lake with hookups on wrong side or face away from the lake but then your door opens up on your neighbors picnic table. Not a big deal for a 1 night stay. I would stay here again We camped at Ellis Lakeside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Alhambra RV Park, Clancy, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

New owners took over 3 weeks ago. Very nice guy working hard. Previous owners let it get very rundown. Presently only electric but good and strong. All other parks in Helena were full so I was looking at spending a 100 degree afternoon on Wal-Mart's blacktop parking lot. I saw the sign for this park about 9 miles south of Helena so pulled in hoping for the best. Only 2 trailers in park. I called number posted on bathroom and owner said pick any site and he would be by later. I picked site K right next to a flowing creek that was big enough for my 37' 5th wheel unhooked with truck parked next to it. 6 sites along creek. Some sites are around a grassy area that could also fit longer trailers. A.C. is working great and keeping me cool. No water and sewer right now but owners working on getting fresh water well working. 1 outhouse that I didn't check out. For self contained vehicles this is an easy overnight stop with great electric. Lots of weeds and long grass in park right now but should be taken care of by new owners soon. You have to drive across a little bridge to access park. My trailer weighs 12000 lb plus dually F350 and bridge is still up. There are also a few sites before bridge if you think you are too heavy. Or check with owner on weight rating of bridge. The Interstate is very close on one side and a two lane road on the other side so turn the fan or ac on for white noise. Again nothing fancy here but would work if FHU parks are full. I would stay here again. We camped at Alhambra RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cape Fair COE, Cape Fair, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed here during the big rain and flooding. Out of 70 sites only 12 were open but they were high and dry. If you are over 30' I would recommend sites 27-34. 30, 31,33 are extra wide if you need room for a boat or extra car. Those sites also back up to kids playground. 27,29,32,34 are long and narrow and close to each other but are staggered so not bad. Plenty of length for my 37'5th wheel and crewcab. Rest rooms were great with individual rooms with toilets and nice free hot showers. Sites 38-79 are by marina and would be tight to try and back in with anything over 30'. Also roads on that side are narrow. I would definitely stay here again if back in the area. We camped at Cape Fair COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Dockweiler RV Park, Playa del Rey, California

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

I recently stayed for a week. The bad: under LAX flight path. Very loud all day and some of the night. Sites very close together. Your awning will probably touch your neighbor's slide. No cable or WiFi. Smells like a sewer a lot of the time. Probably from the treatment plant across the street. The good: on the beach and bike path. Way overpriced for what you get but they are the only RV park near there. We camped at Dockweiler RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Estero Beach Hotel & RV Park, Ensenada, Baja California

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Sewer located in back corner of site - inconvenient. Water tasted salty in shower so wouldn't fill up holding tank. Nice grounds. Not all sites have 30 amp hookup. Some are 15. Check first in case you want to move sites. I was only one in park in early May. We camped at Estero Beach Hotel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Playa Santispac, Mulege, Baja California Sur

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $7.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed a few nights in May. Pretty empty this time of year. Seven other campers. Would be great place to dry camp and listen to the waves except there is always someone blasting there music with base turned up. Annoying and no one around at night to correct problem. Two restaurants on site. Safe to swim. We camped at Playa Santispac in a Fifth Wheel.

Loreto Shores RV Park, Loreto, Baja California Sur

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park to stay in when visiting Loreto. When looking for sign to turn off main street look up - sign is about 12' in air. If you see malecón in distance while at a stop sign that is probably the street to turn on. Don't go all the way to malecón. Easy to maneuver in park. Nice pool. Great shower with hot water and good pressure. Good laundry but no hot water. Just cold water, which is usually lukewarm. Good access to beach between permanent structures. I would recommend staying here. You do have to drive through a bumpy arroyo but no big deal. We camped at Loreto Shores RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Vagabundos del Mar RV Park, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in 35' RV for 2 weeks at $150 / week. Really only 3 sites available that are located next to restaurant. Sites are close to each other but staggered so you have a little patio outside your door. Good Wi-Fi at pool and restaurant. Close to town but probably too far to walk. Right across street from Walmart. Good small bar and restaurant in park to watch sports. Friendly owners. I would recommend staying here if you can get in. If full just go up the road a mile to other park. We camped at Vagabundos del Mar RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Saint Andrews State Park, Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This place has 2 campgrounds - Pine and Lagoon. I stayed in Pine and the road around campground is narrow and some of sites are really tight and hard to back a 30' plus trailer into. Hope it doesn't rain. Had a thunderstorm the day I arrived and quite a few sites were flooded and stayed muddy for days. The Lagoon campground had some very nice large sites especially even numbers 18-36. Try and get those. Restrooms and showers were good and clean. Beach access was good. If you want to fish the jetty get ready for a hike. Definitely quiet. We camped at Saint Andrews State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Small friendly park with owners who go out of their way to make you feel at home. They will provide you with all the information you want regarding sightseeing, fishing, and even the history of the area. A fun place to stay. I will definitely stay here if I am back in Grand Isle. Just confirming other posts. Perfect location for going to 6th St, Lamar, or Congress bars to listen to bands. Also, right next to park and bike and running trails along river. Great location. This park only has 10 spaces available to rent so call well in advance. All other spaces are full timers. They have 12 applications on file for full time and usually only have one opening every few years. Friendly mgt. and full timers. I will definitely stay here again. Yellow Cotton Bayside Cabins and RV Park, Boothville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

If you are coming to Venice to fish this is closest park - 12 minutes to Venice Marina. This park is very clean and well managed. Cement pads to park on and gravel roads. There is a dock at the back of the property you can fish from to catch reds, black drum, and speckled trout. Warning - with a trailer, as you leave to head north you have to go south to cut across the road and you will hit back of trailer on ground. We camped at Yellow Cotton Bayside Cabins and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
