Sewer located in back corner of site - inconvenient. Water tasted salty in shower so wouldn't fill up holding tank. Nice grounds. Not all sites have 30 amp hookup. Some are 15. Check first in case you want to move sites. I was only one in park in early May.

Stayed a few nights in May. Pretty empty this time of year. Seven other campers. Would be great place to dry camp and listen to the waves except there is always someone blasting there music with base turned up. Annoying and no one around at night to correct problem. Two restaurants on site. Safe to swim.

Nice park to stay in when visiting Loreto. When looking for sign to turn off main street look up - sign is about 12' in air. If you see malecón in distance while at a stop sign that is probably the street to turn on. Don't go all the way to malecón. Easy to maneuver in park. Nice pool. Great shower with hot water and good pressure. Good laundry but no hot water. Just cold water, which is usually lukewarm. Good access to beach between permanent structures. I would recommend staying here. You do have to drive through a bumpy arroyo but no big deal.

Stayed in 35' RV for 2 weeks at $150 / week. Really only 3 sites available that are located next to restaurant. Sites are close to each other but staggered so you have a little patio outside your door. Good Wi-Fi at pool and restaurant. Close to town but probably too far to walk. Right across street from Walmart. Good small bar and restaurant in park to watch sports. Friendly owners. I would recommend staying here if you can get in. If full just go up the road a mile to other park.

This place has 2 campgrounds - Pine and Lagoon. I stayed in Pine and the road around campground is narrow and some of sites are really tight and hard to back a 30' plus trailer into. Hope it doesn't rain. Had a thunderstorm the day I arrived and quite a few sites were flooded and stayed muddy for days. The Lagoon campground had some very nice large sites especially even numbers 18-36. Try and get those. Restrooms and showers were good and clean. Beach access was good. If you want to fish the jetty get ready for a hike. Definitely quiet.

Small friendly park with owners who go out of their way to make you feel at home. They will provide you with all the information you want regarding sightseeing, fishing, and even the history of the area. A fun place to stay. I will definitely stay here if I am back in Grand Isle.

Just confirming other posts. Perfect location for going to 6th St, Lamar, or Congress bars to listen to bands. Also, right next to park and bike and running trails along river. Great location. This park only has 10 spaces available to rent so call well in advance. All other spaces are full timers. They have 12 applications on file for full time and usually only have one opening every few years. Friendly mgt. and full timers. I will definitely stay here again.

If you are coming to Venice to fish this is closest park - 12 minutes to Venice Marina. This park is very clean and well managed. Cement pads to park on and gravel roads. There is a dock at the back of the property you can fish from to catch reds, black drum, and speckled trout. Warning - with a trailer, as you leave to head north you have to go south to cut across the road and you will hit back of trailer on ground.
