Checotah / Lake Eufala West KOA, Checotah, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a awesome! We stopped off due to weather and are very happy we did. The park is clean, well maintain and fun. Love the birds in the petting zoo, the walking trails and the gift shop. The sites are on grass but surprisingly level. We have dogs and they were welcome too! There is no cable but antenna picks up several channels. The small restaurant is really cute and they deliver to you rig if you want. We wil be back! Really great park. We camped at Checotah / Lake Eufala West KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Dub'l R RV Park, Brinkley, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is only a parking lot, difficult to find as there are no signs on the road. Owner was very kind and helpful but there are NO amenities. Antenna for TV does not get a signal and no cable. It is literally a stop to rest. Only offers water, electric and dump. If you need to rest, stop here. If you're looking for any amenities, they are not here. Decent price to stop and rest and again, the owner was very pleasant. We camped at Dub'l R RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Riverside Campground & Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The campground itself was very clean and nice. Pretty lake to walk near. The bathrooms were disqusting. It smelled like a sewer, shows were filthy. This is my only issue with this campground. It is a very religious lication, fyi. Staff were personable. For being a gravel site, it was pretty level. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Have stayed at this park numerous times and love this place! The staff are wonderful, the park is clean and well maintained and they are always available to help. The park is secure and there is a market just around the corner. Excellent place to stay! We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Dancing Eagle RV Park, Casa Blanca, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Great for the value. The office provides coupons for showers at the TA across the street was great. This is just a stop in park, there is nothing at the park. It has a fenced dog park BUT there are goat head stickers so watch closely! it is all rock. The casino is right next door though we did not go to it. There was a good storm while we were there so be prepared when you go and watch the weather. The laundry facility on site was nice, good price for a laundry mat. We camped at Dancing Eagle RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

A little pricey for the park, but overall was okay. FYI, it is very dark at night as there are no park lights so be sure to have flash lights if you need to walk your dogs or go to the restrooms. Bring your dinner as there was no place near by to get food, every thing was either 20 miles ahead or 12 miles back tracking. The park is all rock which hurt our dogs feet so keep that in mind. Great for nightly stays, not long term. There are two dog parks that are fenced in. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The only close by site is the meteor crater exhibit which we did not do so can't comment on the facility or cost.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Highly recommend this park. Very clean, well maintained, office staff were very pleasant. large spaces with full hook-ups. The showers are completely private. There is grass for your dogs and they did not have a dog limit (just restrictions on the breeds...fyi). Enjoyed the half buried bus and is conveniently located a few miles from all the restaurants you could want. very easy access. would have liked to say longer but we were just passing through. Also has a huge storm shelter. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Council Road RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed just one night (that was enough). The park reviews (recent, July 2015) stated there were few long term residents, but that is not the case. Also, the water is in an underground water faucet with lots of spiders. The other residents were working on their vehicles and were loud into the night. For the dogs, careful of the goat head stickers in the grass, very bad. Yes, the spaces were good sized, but not a good value. We arrived after hours, the office was very nice about leaving an envelope taped to the door so we could self register. Overall-not the best park but not the worst we've stayed at. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
