Travelers World Campground, Clovis, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Driving through, only stayed one night. Campgrounds was easy to find and get into. They save the front pull through sites for overnighters. Site was gravel, and very level, no adjustment were needed. All utilities were easy to access. Park was quite when we were there. Bathrooms are old but well kept, there was a note indicating that they are aware and working on updating them. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Paragon Casino Resort RV Park, Marksville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here one night, did not unhook fifth wheel, no need. We were put in a very level concrete site, there are roving small transport buses to pick you up and take you to the casino. We took advantage of the seafood buffet they offer that night, it was very good. RV park was very quite, restrooms were well kept and very nice. Check in staff was very nice and friendly, looking forward to staying here again. We camped at Paragon Casino Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in site 83. Concrete padded sites very long and very level. This park has a wonderful view of the Mississippi River. Great for relaxing and watching the barges being pushed up and down the Mississippi river. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Wife tried some fishing in the small ponds, caught and released two small bass. No issues with the WiFi it worked for us. Park is very convenient for accessing the Memphis city. My dogs (two Yorkie's) and I walked on the walking trails early in the mornings, nice long walk and they were very well kept. Looking forward to staying here again. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park), Shreveport, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

35' fifth wheel, pulled in for a overnight stay, was placed in site 62. Staff was very helpful and friendly, park was very clean and well maintained, close and easy access to the hwy but not able to hear any hwy noise. Would stay here again. Separate and nice Large and Small dog areas. Did not use the bathroom area. Only thing I would bring up as an issues is, as you exit your rv there was a 1 1/2" to a 2" concrete step up to the concrete sidewalk, possible trip issues for those not paying attention. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverway RV Park, Llano, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park. As stated before sites are graveled with grass islands separating each site. We stayed during the July 4th weekend, park was very quiet, we enjoyed watching the firework display the city provided from our site. Very nice pavilion containing exercise room, showers, bathrooms, washer, dryers, all kept extremely clean. Easy access to the river water is about 2 1/2' - 3' deep. Will stay here again. We camped at Riverway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Breaks Park COE, Georgetown, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in campsite 38, and stayed for five nights. Need to make reservations early as it fills up quickly on the weekends. Even though all campsites were filled up the park was very quite. Park host made regular checks to ensure all rules were being followed, we saw them stop and talk with a few whose vehicles were parked on the grass. You really need to visit the park to ensure the right campsite for your vehicle, older site, very uneven, odd angles and dips, we used quite a bit of lumber to ensure levelness, some sites really drop off near the back of the driveway so be prepared. Restrooms and showers were clean, looked like on weekdays they bring in a pressure sprayer to pressure spray the restrooms and recently vacated campsites - pavilion and grills. Lake is low due to the drought, park was clean, no trash seen. Lots to do and enjoy around the area, you are far enough to enjoy the outdoors without the crowded city/town feel, and a short drive (less then 2 miles) brings you access to supplies from large retailers if needed. Will visit again. We camped at Cedar Breaks Park COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV park. Three pools. One pool and hot tub indoors which was for adults only, one outdoor only adult pool, and a outside family pool. We stayed in a premium pull through site. Plenty of room in-between sites. All facilities/bathrooms were very well kept and park well maintained. Very quite even close to the bar, music stopped at 11pm. Well groomed walking trail along the river. Plenty to see and do in Ingram ( Stonehenge 2) and in Kerrville. Looking forward to visiting again. There are grass-burrs, but it is the hill country and to be expected. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Guadalupe River in a Fifth Wheel.

Fredericksburg, Texas KOA, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

As older adults not traveling with children the campsite was very quiet and enjoyable. We stayed during the Easter holiday. On Sunday the office and club house were closed; no activities were scheduled during this weekend. The restrooms were all very clean. The park was well maintained, trees were well trimmed. We camped in L04; no issues pulling in or out, plenty of room between campsite. Plenty of room for two vehicles and a 35' fifth wheel. Security patrolled the area very well. The washroom was well maintained and clean. The fenced in dog area was nice, and they provided dog pick up bags there and in several other areas in the park. There were rules posted but nothing to extreme. Pool was closed - still too cool. Would stay here again. We camped at Fredericksburg, Texas KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
