Terry Bison Ranch Resort, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Campgrounds gravel roads are full of potholes around entry/check-in. Travel slow, as you won't miss them. Decided to do the "train" ride (converted/unique school bus on train track to view/feed the bison. This is a real slow "clickty-clack" ride without narration but enjoyable. Hand feed the bison with plenty of photo opps doing so. Dining at the Senator restaurant

was just average and pricey but with a friendly knowledgeable server. Park buildings appear in need of repair (not restoration) and playground equipment (didn't use) to be used at guest risk (inspect before using). Campground appears inhabited (50%+) by longterm oil field workers with plenty of DIY skirting around the rigs. Biggest issue was lots of full hookup sites are without sewer caps so odor is a definite issue! Looks like they might have recognized the issue as a few show evidence of new caps but plenty are missing! We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

Trailer Village RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 1 nite in our motorhome and will stay again. Park has just added 6 new pull-thrus with plenty of room for in/out turning. Nice knowledgeable staff! Park plans to add additional back-in sites soon but the new pull-thrus add new value to this park. Older park with new owners "on the move". Try it! We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park), Casa Grande, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 4 mos @ $27/nite net (4 month peak rate) in this outstanding park. 40'x50' sites are pea gravel w/concrete patio slabs and hard surface roads throughout the park. This park is world class with over 2000 sites split between park models and RV sites. Still plenty of RV sites although park models/patio homes continue to be built. Every hobby interest has a group. Outstanding wood shop with very knowledgeable staff. Reservations to specific sites available. Always check special pricing promos for 1st timers! We will be returning for 4 mos in the fall of the year. Utilities are extra on monthly stay! Averaged $70/mo. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Boot Hill RV Resort, Alamogordo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

GREAT PARK...easy access to the park with good gravel roads and sites. Pull-throughs are level and plenty wide and long for tow. Straight out to Hwy 54/70. Enjoyed the horse boarded in the park corral! Small picnic tables at the sites. Strong water pressure (might suggest water regulator if you're worried). Will stay here again if in the area. NICE STAFF! Stayed here one night and decided to stay a second. Enough said! We camped at Boot Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.
