Livingston / Paradise Valley KOA, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We had a pull-through site that was so close to the adjacent site we only had about 5 feet between slides. The sewer hookups are located next to the "patio" near the center edge so you have to step over and around it if you are using the picnic table. Not very appetizing or sanitary. We were charged an early arrival fee because, and I quote, "it was an inconvenience for us to be there for the grounds crew". We arrived at 11:30, check in is late, at 2:00. The pull-through sites were mostly weeds. The site was in desperate need of maintenance. There was continued gunfire from around 3:00 PM to around 8:00 PM. Not sure if it was someone in the park or someone right on the border. Most RVs were alarmed and we all stayed inside hoping a stay bullet did not hit one of us. I did not see any attempt from staff to remedy this issue and I have no idea if this is a common problem. We did not feel safe at this KOA. We camped at Livingston / Paradise Valley KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Rocky Mountain RV Park, Gardiner, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

We had an incredible site with a large grass area and shade overlooking the town of Gardner as well as the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Newly remodeled and extremely clean restrooms and showers. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rocky Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great place to stay if you are visiting the north end of Yellowstone. There were elk in the rv park two of the three days we were there. You can walk to town but it is a hike back uphill to the rv park.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

It is very hard to level front to back as well as side-to-side. The interior roads are really narrow, lots of turns with trees and rocks making it very difficult to maneuver. We came very close to damaging our trailer on the way in as well as out in different locations. There are very few sewer hookups which all seem to be taken by full timers most with rundown vehicles etc. parked there. We were put into a site too small for us and then moved to another site that barely fit our trailer and could not accommodate our tow vehicle. The staff refused to give us a site (even though there were plenty) to accommodate our needs and we were told there was not a manager to speak to. Of course we paid in advance with our reservation. We had to wait for the RV in front of us to move before we could back into our trailer and leave-- not kidding! The dump station is poorly placed and filthy. We had to park in the road to use it. We might have been better off in a Walmart parking lot. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

We stayed in a very long and spacious back-in site. They have a very big dog park as well as trails around the puside of the park. Very convenient to shopping and easy to get to old town from here. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Taos Valley RV Park & Campground, Taos, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Park was poorly managed in terms of matching rv size and needs (hookup needs) to site assignment. As example, an r-pod type trailer (10 ft) took up a 60 ft pull though site with only 110 electric needs while large motor homes 40 ft and travel trailers 35 ft were jammed into 35(?) sites with only 30 amp and water hookups. Brush had encroached into our site so much we could barely exit the door and brush was jammed into slide. There was no parking for tow vehicles. We could not use the outside area. It says pet friendly, however there is no place to walk pets except down the road or in an unoccupied site. The only perk is it is convenient to downtown Taos. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Mogote Meadow Cottages & RV Park, Antonito, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The actual sites were ok, on grass with trees, however the entire rv park has piles of junk everywhere. For example, broken down washers, semi bed with old satellite dishes and scapegoat metal, etc. the bathrooms and laundry were moldy and in desperate need of repair. We did not notice the new, nice rv park right across the road nor was it listed in any of our guides or we definitely would not have stayed here. They only take cash or checks, no credit cards, and there is barely enough water pressure for showering. We camped at Mogote Meadow Cottages & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

West Glacier KOA, West Glacier, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $89.00
Overall Rating:

Wow. The best KOA we have ever stayed in. We had a deluxe patio site which was wide, private, had a huge patio, great landscaping, a 6 person patio table with shade umbrella, full size BBQ, and fire ring. Very pet friendly. Has a dog park and walk. Facilities are clean and maintained often. Pleasant staff. We camped at West Glacier KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Woodland RV Park, Libby, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Incredible wide shaded sites right on the creek with grass. We would have rated this park higher except for their pet policy. Guests were not allowed to use pet pens, kennels or to tie up pets. Anytime a pet was outside it was to be on a short leash and with owner. However, the owners Rottweiler was allowed to roam free and into guests sites. Not cool. We camped at Woodland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Very crowded. The amenities were nice and included a nice beach area and dog park. Although sites had some space between them, there were so many RVs in park it actually felt like a parking lot, at least to us. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Canyon Pines RV Resort, Riggins, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We had a very nice site which backed up to the river. Owners are very nice, bathroom and showers were clean and a nice size. We rated it at a 7 only because there was no shade and we had to stay inside since it was so hot. If we had shade we would have stayed longer. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A beautiful site right on the Snake River. Sites are lush grass, have trees, pull through and very wide. The manager goes above and beyond and helped us with an issue we had with our rv. We would definitely come here again. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Fallon RV Park, Fallon, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here in the past but the property has gone down hill. Sites are full of weeds. Restrooms, while clean, need some work. Some staff was great, others were extremely rude. In addition, the RV park office is at a mini mart gas station. When we checked in there was only one person trying to juggle all three. Felt sorry for her. Sites are long and most are fairly level. We camped at Fallon RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
