Woodland Campground, Woodland, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park overnight, and were pleased we chose it. The owners live at the campground, and were very nice and helpful. It is convenient to the interstate, but very quiet. Our site was level , and was very well set up. The facilities were well thought out, and the roads were easy to navigate. Great dog park. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Woodland Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

American Wilderness Campground, Grafton, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Our campsite was not very level. It took all of my blocks to level my rig. The roads were very narrow, but the intersections were wide enough to negotiate my 39 foot 5th wheel without leaving the road. The area I camped in was full of pipeline workers, but it was very quiet, and you would not know they were there. I would stay there again. We camped at American Wilderness Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Deerlick Creek COE, Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park, and the sites are great. We were paced in site w22, which was a bit of a hassle to get into with our 39 foot 5th wheel, but doable. Sites 14,17, and 20 were taken, but would have been much easier to get into. Very quiet with beautiful views. Although it is a bit off the highway, it is well worth the trip to get there. we would definitely stay there again, and would lengthen our stay. We camped at Deerlick Creek COE in a Fifth Wheel.

CreekFire Motor Ranch, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Although less than a month old, the campground is well developed, and is on its way to becoming a class RV resort. The campground has a heated pool, hot tub, gas community fire pit, tennis courts and other amenities. Very friendly office personnel and staff. They offer a shuttle service to downtown ($20) and well worth it as parking is very expensive in the city. Good city water (bring a pressure regulator, but the taps are a little low and an elbow may be needed. My site was long enough for my truck and 5th wheel, with plenty of extra length to move round in. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again. We camped at CreekFire Motor Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Even gave me a ride from and to a truck service facility. The sites were level and not cramped. As with most of the campgrounds in the area, sites were gravel. We plan to be back in the area as there were far too many things to see and do in the time we had there, and will definitely stay there again. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Paradise Ranch (formerly Trammell's Running Creek), Franklin, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were gravel and level. It was easy to get into the sites. However, there were fire ant hills every where and dogs running loose and not being picked up after. It was a quick stop on our way but I'll never stay there again. We camped at Paradise Ranch (formerly Trammell's Running Creek) in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA , Montgomery, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This is a KOA Holiday campground, so there are many amenities including an enclosed pool and hot tub. We stayed 1 night only, so it was a bit expensive for us. We were guided to our site and the guide spotted our position the the utilities. The site was the levelest one we have ever stayed at. We have it on our list to return to if we are in the area again. We camped at Lake Conroe / Houston North KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

KOC Kampground, New Iberia, Louisiana

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is convenient to down town New Iberia, Avery Island, and the Konrad Rice Company mill and store. We stayed overnight, and would probably stay again. A new owner bought the campground 6 months ago and has improved the roads a lot since our last visit. His next project is drainage. It was very wet after all of the rain over the last several weeks, and our pedestal was in the middle of a 2-inch puddle. Grading will do a lot for this. A lot of the people staying there are workers, but after the 5:30 AM rush, It was quiet until we went to bed. We camped at KOC Kampground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rainbow Plantation - Escapees Rainbow Park , Summerdale, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Large grassy sites, ours was level. Large Clubhouse with plenty of activities. As an Escapees park, there are plenty of seasonal and permanent residents, but they are very friendly and welcoming, and they want you to be a part of their activities. We were always invited to join them for meals, and never ate alone. This was our second stay, and we will stay again. We camped at Rainbow Plantation - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverside Campground & Resort, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here 4 times now, and enjoy the campsite and its location. We were on a gravel pull through that was level. Although near an extremely traveled main road, you couldn't hear road noise. The staff was very helpful. Great place to stay, and we will return again. We camped at Riverside Campground & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Noccalula Falls Campground, Gadsden, Alabama

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The staff were great, but didn't seem to know the best approach to the site we were assigned. We had to go back around so that we could approach the site from the opposite direction. Tight for big rig. The city-owned campground was in the city park. The falls was spectacular as it had recently opened. The park was decorated for Christmas and they did a good job. We camped at Noccalula Falls Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Our third visit as we travel north and south. Not far from highway but no highway or truck stop noise. Stayed hooked up as the site was level. We are 60 feet including truck, and the site was plenty long for the combo. Definitely will stay there again. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Candy Hill Campground, Winchester, Virginia

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Easy place to get to. I have a 39 ft 5th wheel and the entrance and exit seem pretty narrow, but really aren't. Inside roads are fine. Level site, and big enough for my truck to remain hooked up. Office staff helped me get in touch with a mobile RV repairman. Would stay again. We camped at Candy Hill Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Shady Pines RV Park, Texarkana, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The staff were great on check in. Roads and sites were paved and level. Grass between sites. The roads were wide and the lead ins and exits to the sites were widened to allow access to big rigs. We stayed one night, but would stay for longer if time allows. The campground was owned by the RV dealer next door. The dealer had an extensive inventory of repair parts and inventory. We camped at Shady Pines RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
