You are not too far from the rim. They have a shuttle bus to get to far the view points. It is a short walk to the stop. If you want showers they are at Mather campground (coin operated). For Wi-Fi you have to go to the cafe by the market. The sites are paved and fairly level. Picnic table and BBQ.

These are all back in sites, if lots of other campers are there it may be difficult to back in a bigger rig. The site was very level with lots of nice shade trees. There were some bugs by water's edge but, not many in our campsite. The park was quiet and clean. We would stay here again.

We started out to stay one night but, we ended up staying 3 nights. The campground was very nice on Acadia Lake. Sites were fairly flat. Water is shared with other sites, so be sure you have a a T and at least 50 ft or longer in some sites. Down by the lake none of the sites have sewer, they are the inner sites. We would come back and stay here again.

The Foss State Park was a pleasant campground. The site was very level and paved. Lots of shade trees. Camp host was very friendly. Fishing and Boating was available. We stayed for two days and would stay here again. We were in the Cedar Campground, which is on the lake. Cottonwood Campground was not on the lake but had many more trees and protection from the wind.

Our site was a little uneven, as were others in our area. We were given the area we could choose which site we wanted in the row. Our site did have nice shade trees and picnic tables. The staff was friendly. There is a hospital nearby so you may hear some sirens. You can hear trains at night. For KOA campgrounds this one was sub-par to other KOAs we have visited. Our price shows the KOA discount.

We stayed here two nights and could have stayed longer. We will come back here again. We had a nice spot on the lake. There were no bugs and it was a quiet camp. The camp host was very nice and friendly. The site was pretty level and there was plenty of room between sites. The sites were back-in. We were at the Hickory Campground and it is the one that has lake-front sites and the showers. Great place to fish. If you have a boat there is a boat ramp nearby.

This RV park is right on Route 66. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground had lots of activities for all. They had a movie, ice cream social and tie dying t-shirts. This seemed to be a very family friendly park. Our site was level and was quiet even being close to the highway. You do hear the trains at night. It rained while we were there and it drained well. The staff gave us some great tips for what to see on Route 66. They also had a very nice gift shop with a nice variety of gifts and things you may need. We would stay here again. Our rate showed the KOA discount.

This campground was the only one open in the area and we had a good stay here. The site we had was pretty level. There are people who are here long term. We found the owner very friendly and many of the people staying there. The park may need a little maintenance for some. We were happy here and it was quiet. Since people were here long term you could hear them coming and going at all times but, all in all it was not too bad for a place next to the highway.

We were greeted by the owner and she was very friendly and helpful to all what we needed to know. The park was clean and our site was level. We had lots of channels on the cable TV and great Wi-Fi service. It was raining when we stayed here and it drained well. The park was quiet. We would stay here again.

We camped here for 3 nights for the Kentucky Derby and Oaks. It was nice to be close to the Derby and the Shuttles. It is only a short walk to the shuttles to Churchill Downs. You are in a paved parking lot and spots are very close and you may have to share a sewer. Need to have a sewer line with out a fitting on one end and at least 50 ft long. There are showers and bathrooms. My low rating is due to lack of security keeping the quiet time with people playing loud music. We would not stay here very again for that reason.

This is a very pleasant campground that is very family orientated. Our site was level and right on the stream. Grass area with picnic table and fire ring. Clean Restrooms and Showers. The staff here was very friendly. The pool was not open yet will be in a couple of weeks. They have put put golf here and horseshoes. We ended up staying an extra day it was so relaxing and pleasant. Plus no bugs at night. There are parts that have people who live here full time but, all friendly. This is a very clean park. The little store has good basics. If in the area again we will stay here!

We looked at all the RV parks in the area and this one was close to the sites on Route 66. The sites are a little uneven, full hookups, cable and Wi-Fi. There are people who live here full time. All we met were very friendly. The owner is very friendly and explained all that they have done since buying the property. I do believe this place has great potential. We would stay here again.

This Campground was just what we wanted. We had a nice spot right on the lake. Sight was level, showers and bathrooms were clean. Laundry facility available. View was nice and the campground was quiet. We will be back here at some point to spend a few relaxing days. Great spot when traveling on the Natchez Trace Parkway.

We were here during some very bad weather and tornado warning. The Ranger instructed us on what to do and placed us near the bathroom if we needed to seek shelter. Thank goodness we did not need to do this. The camp site was nice and level with water and electric hookup. Lots of trees. We were there only over night and were happy with the site. Looked around the park and it looked great and would stay here again.

We stayed here during Jazz Fest and the prices are higher at that time. The staff was friendly. They had daily shuttles to the French Quarter and to Jazz Fest. The pool was nice along with the hot tub. Bathrooms were clean. Sights were level. We had a river (canal) site and we were extremely happy here. They had a place to eat and drink if you wanted and the food was good along with live music. We would stay here again. We were here for 4 days and price is with Passport America discount, taxes extra.
