Tips for other Campers:

Come in from Morgan Hill, as there is a concrete divider and entering off Bailey Street exit CANNOT be done, going past and doing a U turn has to happen, U turn in big rig impossible, it's a few miles to do it too. Can only use Bailey street to get back on the 101. Go to Walmart for necessities before coming. Leaving Walmart make a left and follow to the last traffic light and go right several miles.

This is DESERT!!!! We love this place, stayed 3 day both this year and last year. Not much for shade, all dirt. Great larger dog area. Friendly staff. Great laundry. Friendly neighbors. Wifi doesn't reach the sites. Flexible checkout! If ever in the area again will definitely go back. We camped at Lost Hills RV Park (formerly Lost Hills Campground) in a Motorhome.

King County Fairgrounds, Hanford, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a county fairgrounds, it is a place to park with full hookups. There isn't a dog park, there is plenty of grass across the street for dog pottying. There are no close restrooms or showers. There are no picnic tables. There are no walking distance food sources. There are no playgrounds for children. This is only a place to park. We camped at King County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Carmel by the River RV Park, Carmel, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely tight road to get to this place, we have 40 foot Class A Motorhome, meeting oncoming traffic is not a good thing. Was maneuverable in the big rig, spots are tight slide outs touch the foliage dividers separating spots. We didn't use anything other than water, power and septic. Friendly staff. Had we been told about the road to get there, we would have found another place elsewhere. Seems that there are many full time residents, as traffic in and out before and after work hours was the most of the traffic. One other rig showed up in our 3 day stay. Dog friendly too! Nothing much to be entertained by at this place. We more than likely would stay again if in the area. Just be sure to reserve a spot ahead of time. Limited restrooms and two showers per sex. We camped at Carmel by the River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have to go into Carmel! Don't recommend doing it in the motor home at all. If no vehicle, find a cab!

We stayed 2 nights and the only complaint is the park construction noise. Started early in morning. Laundry facilities has issues. Friendly staff; however, the after hours check in staff was not knowledgeable. I had to go in next morning. We camped at Ventura Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Awesome place! Found it by accident, actually. Just needed to get off the road! Stopped at Loves truck stop and found this place in our big book from Camping World. Staff is incredible and so helpful. Traveling with Great Dane show dog. Dog area is great! Easy easy in and out! Will definitely stay here again if in the area! Love the one stop staying and shopping aspect. Was able to get propane also. So convenient. We camped at Lost Hills RV Park (formerly Lost Hills Campground) in a Motorhome.
